"Let's start from the very beginning."

We took it out on each other.

We cried it off.

We felt that there's no hope left to save things.

We looked at it again.

We went for it.

We talked about it.

We saw what it is that we hoped to find in each other.

Our eyes met.

We were happy.

Now read the above in reverse, and wonder if life would be better if we saw things from back to front instead.

Or is there really an order to things?

- It's always darkest before the dawn.

Don't we all? Get the things we want - do what we want - go where we wanna go.

I second that!

Haha. THAT is what we usually call.......... RETIREMENT. Guess (for typical working life) we all got to slog for 40-50 years before we can do that.

Blame thyself and then we're accused of having self-esteem issues, depressive and a through and through ice water bucket.

There's no pleasing people.

Thus the key is balance. Know what is within your control and what is not. Don't sweat the small stuff but take personal responsibility too.

"I wish you weren't born." They probably thought.

Aww, le hugs for you.

No they don't. No parents will ever feel that way ):

Idk. Some things are better left unsaid.

This is really sad. I hope he will be able to maintain the business that they both have started.

While the family lose a loved one, they just conveniently ignore the loved one's lover who similarly need support and consolations

-

I once read on a Taiwan forum where a user mentioned that he broke down outside of a hospital because his BF's family refused to let him into the ICU where his BF is in critical condition. It really saddens me, that one cannot visit his bf in a hospital/attend a funeral just because the family denied the relationship.

Yeap. It is sad and it is happening. That is where friends come in to give the support one can get during a trying time - without judging.

Not sure if you guys know it.

http://www.lgbtqnation.com/2012/10/south-africa-first-to-recognize-gay-flag-as-an-official-national-symbol/

The South African government announced in the official Government Gazette that the Gay Flag of South Africa has been approved and accepted as the country’s official gay flag (an adaptation of the international gay flag and the South African national flag).

This makes South Africa the first country in the world to officially recognize a gay flag, and likely any official LGBTI symbol.

I feel so guilty whenever they are too nice to me. It's this part of me telling me I don't deserve such treatment and this other part of me reminding me I ain't committed. I can't give the commitment they might expect from me or rather, I ain't good enough to deserve all these treatments.

It's better than I ever even knew.

We accept the love we think we deserve. Haha, everyone deserves the best.

I've been thinking about what people say when they say you need to be mature to be in love. I've been thinking of what it means, and why people say that. There was an epiphany tonight...

I've seen so much in the past 3 years... how people get hurt because of love, how people hurt because of love, how people lose themselves because of love, how people find happiness because of love... and the thing is, when you're (inevitably) hurt by love, how mature are you to be able to stop yourself from hurting another person? Can anyone stand proudly and say they're good enough for something like this? Even as I am posting this, am guilty of something so insignificant to the eyes of people...

It suddenly feels important to be mature enough; to know what is more important - the fact that you're forever harboring in the pool of self-hatred, or the fact that you're not the only person who exists in this world.

That everything happens for a reason; that everyone is connected in some way; that it is fate (be it good or bad) that we know and meet each other on this day... I know what all that means now.

And it makes me feel more ready to embrace your everything.
