Inspiring...

Sometimes it is the right person, just the wrong timing.

Once it is over, it will never return. A broken mirror can't be mended.

Take a look at what you have, and what you have taken for granted. You might regret if you refuse to.

You can complain that roses have thorns, or you can also rejoice that thorns have roses

Is it just me, or is this forum being overrun by kids now.

Maybe the young ones should start their own "Blowing Wind Jr Forum"

That is very a cute idea.

Actually, Afterwork has a point. I had to read a typically bratty exchange of PMs with a 21-yo, and that boy reeks of immaturity and self-centredness. Bleeaargh!

I hate you. Your actions will definitely throw someone into the pits of hatred, despair and depression. You dont deserve my respect AT ALL. So what if you are a LTA? You broke my heart. Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned - but a scorned woman pales in comparison to a vengeful gay shrouded in the white flames of hate.

And because I was too stupid to trust you.

Sianz.

Recalled that I had a wonderful dream of perfection the night before, and now I am going to sleep after just reaching home from work.

DITTO!! Just now I had an evening nap and so I had a WONDERFUL dream! After waking up, I rushed to go online here as I wanted to pen down my dream experience here before my dreamy details start to fade away. I wanted to leave a footprint of memory here so that I can revisit my dream experiences in the future. Anyway I try to be detailed below, as far as I can recall.

I was in a quiet and safe place where I saw an unknown man trying to fix something. I ignored him and walked around a bit. It looked like an evening to me. I examined the surroundings. Typical of urban landscape. Nothing interesting. Looking up to the night sky, I suddenly had an inspiration and determination to reach to the sky. Somehow and magically, I was armed with just a pair of flying boots. Then I revved up and catapulted myself up towards the sky, with everything looking blurry as I traveled with a bursting speed. Indeed, the sky had changed from evening blue to black as I traveled. Finally I reached the night sky. I hovered for a while, observing everything on my top, bottom, right and left sides.. cloudy dust of asteroids of all sizes, twinkling stars of all sorts along the Milky Way. I was in amazement. Then I had an idea - to touch the stars. I maneuvered myself through the mass of rocks and touched a few stars. They were shyly wriggling before dispersing into the blackness... I spotted nearby a gamma-ray star that was emitting a peculiar green light. Out of curiosity, I glided through the outer space towards it and touched it. As I got close to it, I noticed that the small ring of light surrounding it had changed from green to pinkish purple. The ring of light glistened more when I touched it. So beautiful... I was so excited and happy. I didn't get hurt while touching it. Later I felt a pulling sensation on my body, indicating that my "fuel" was used up and so I was abruptly gravitated back towards the Earth surface.

But I didn't give up; I had more determination to make another ascent to the outer space to explore more. So I rested for a while before propelling myself up towards the starry sky, still in an euphoric mood. But this time it was a bit different. I went too far beyond the sky. As I traveled, I briefly saw the same stars just now... into the unspeakable blackness. A few moments later, I entered another surreal yet familiar world. Reached the ground calmly and safely. It seemed like an mid afternoon to me. I examined the surroundings, and they were similar to the Earth, but they were farther more futuristic. There were numerous ultra tall skyscrapers of gravity-defying designs that reach into the sky. I surmised that they must be over 500 storeys high. Then there were human beings, busily walking around. Hoping to find out what's going on the top floors of these skyscrapers, I made my short ascents towards them. I saw loads of great tall trees that extend out from the top of skyscrapers. They were thick and highly interwoven. Their canopy also very wide like a gigantic mushroom. I wondered how they could grow like that on the skyscrapers. There were sizable holes within them, so I glided through them to feel a bit of nature. Other than that, I also saw a swimming pool on the top of skyscraper (like Marina Bay Sands - I don't know why I see it!). Adults were relaxing on the tanning decks and children were playing in water. They also looked at me in curiosity but nevertheless resumed their activities. It was very interesting, considering that at such an extreme altitude and thin air atmosphere, it would be frozen and inhabitable for them. By then, it was already dusk with the sky becoming orange-purple.. Essentially speaking, I believed that i traveled to the future. Anyway, I made my final ascent back to where I should be, across the outer space. I just accelerated upwards although I didn't know how to find my way back. Then I woke up from my evening nap. I was immensely happy and enthusiastic in those places until I was being forcefully snapped back to reality. :(

Actually it was not my first time experiencing such a dream; I really had a lot of "flying/hovering" dreams in my entire lifetime. Compared to other types of dreams (nightmares, sad dreams, etc), they (flying dreams) were the best of all. But this dream above was the first of all my flying dreams as I had successfully reached the outer space. In my previous flying dreams, I didn't manage to reach the starry night, only to be blocked by an invisible wall. Could only see it from a distance. I usually float around the clouds. In some dreams, I had seen several hidden places full of happiness behind the clouds. In others, I would levitate and travel to places I had never been to before, like over the whole Himalayas. In particular, the Himalayas that I dreamt of was not just all about the mountains only. I saw like many monasteries and sacred places with happy pilgrims dancing as they walked along the paths towards the snowy summits. I couldn't remember exactly, but they invited me to join them, to which I gladly accepted. Passing through the mountains into Tibet (I think), I saw a warm hospitable city, bustling with life (maybe Shangri-La?).

I also had other similar dreams where I would just jump out of my flat and glide through the air like a bird.. sometimes carrying my parents on a piggyback as if I wanted to show them the places.. There was a very clear (not fuzzy) dream where I landed myself on the Nepali grounds in the city of Kathmandu. Bear in mind that I had never been to Nepal before in real life. Saw various temples around, Nepali people, children playing in playgrounds and later the Himalayas in the background. Full of energy, I walked towards the mountains with the trail turning from the tarmac grey to the snowy white. Even I touched the highest mountains in the Himalayas range with ease (I should be breathing hard or tired), before ending up in the land of Ladakh. I rested on the green pastures.. Like that one.

There were some futuristic yet apocalyptic-looking dreams I had... I was observing everything from my flat. The sky was starry dark brown and glittering with light purple colour. There were a few spherical buildings floating above the ground. I cannot describe them in detail but the pictures were close renditions of what I saw..

Usually the night sky in Singapore is boring with a very few stars, right? I had an interesting dream related to it.. It was like chaotic with the sky collapsing and preparing for another Big Bang.. After that dream, I woke up in the middle of the night and checked out the sky.. It looked normal. lol. The pictures below are what I think similar to what I remembered..

job interview in about 7 hours time - but I dont know whether I want the job or not.

Take it as another practice for future interviews, if necessary

Yes, you are evil and also bo liao. Why are you making a big fuss out of it since he has not done anything wrong to you? It would be advisable to mind your own business. Just my two cents' worth.
