Ivan Posted August 10, 2012 Report Share Posted August 10, 2012 From My Experience:Please beware of those 'professional' masseurs come from PRC to Singapore for few months stay.Firstly, It is illegal when you call for service if you are attracted by his look and the photos has been edited to suit your taste.Secondly, they are aiming for huge money and expensive branded presents from you before leaving Singapore.Thirdly, he will blur you about his background and make you sympathize him for giving him money as a 'Friend' during the service.So, please do not blur by those masseurs. You will pay a lot more that he stated the cost of massage services. If you want to try, just call for the actual proper service without talking and making 'Friend' during the massage service. ckson Posted August 11, 2012 Report Share Posted August 11, 2012 I've tried him a few times, over the last 1-2 years. He is one of the rare Chinese PRC who can do real good massage, tuina style. You can tell that he's trained, he said he was trained by a blind sifu in Heilongjiang hometown. The picture is of him wearing sunglass in a recent boating trip but in real life, he doesn't wear specs and he looks like that picture. The last time I saw him was 2 months ago and he didn't look hagard. He's stated his price here and you just pay that price accordingly. Anyway, that's my experience with him. If you return to him again for service, you may ask him what does he do for his main job in the night. He will tell you to support him if he knows you are rich and can spend money easily. If he does not want to tell you, mean you are no value for him and you are safe for the service. By the way, his service room has no window, the bed is smelly and towel was reuse by many customers. Mark has been coming to Singapore on visitor pass, on and off several times a year and he typically rents a hotel room and does outcall. Recently, he got a job here (as Ivan said, in the night and every night too), got a work permit, rented a room and thus has a permanent presence here. His massage is done during his off hours. I've not tried him since he's back with his full-time job so he could be more hagard, and operating out of a room rented in a flat may not be appealing to some customers. Its not uncommon for PRC to talk about money, especially when he's familiar with you. Its probably better to do an outcall, after he'd rested from his night shift. First visit was in the morning and I was his first customer, the bed and towel were clean and dry, we did not talk much during the service, therefore my feedback was good. The second visit was in the afternoon, the bed was smelly and towel was wet. He looked tired and started to tell me his problem during the service, he started the topic and asked me to support him in his night working place. I was surprised and kept silent without any reply for the whole session. I have decided not to go back to him again after I step out from his room, because I need a masseur can provide professional massage to release my stress body after a hard day of work and not giving extra money for his stay in Singapore and building his business in China. He needs to learn how to earn his money by his massage skill.So to all friends, above is my feedback and for your reference. I called him yesterday around 1.30pm to fixed for a 4.30pm session. He sms his location a couple of minutes later. (Did not ask about his rates as they were published all over this thread). Showed up at the appointed location, sms him and he showed up to bring me over to his place. His place is rather neat, and the aircon was working well. There is a double bed with a large linen over the bedsheets, which was for the massage. He sat me down to relax and he went through the different type of massage and rates, which is exactly as shown on this website. However, if you have other request, like myself as I wanted a mixture of tui-na and oil, he is willing to oblige and rates can then be discussed. He requested for sometime to return some calls and smses. I was then given a FRESH, CLEAN, towel and took my shower. Attached toilet is clean and no usual foul smell. After my shower, he used another CLEAN towel to cover part of my body for his massage. I would rate is massage skill as good, better than most PRC. During the massage, there were the usual conversation and we talked about the negative posrtings that he was aware of. I guess it is how comfortable he is with his customers and what he would talk about. Overall, the massage was not rushed and it was actually more than 60 mins. I believe we all have different expectations. Just as they are many bad masseurs, we have to admit there are also many bad customers. Even though with all the bad publicity he's getting on this thread, from the sms and calls for booking he's getting from old and new customers, he must be doing something right, I guess.
