Please contact me via PM within the next few days if you can truly help. Added 10th Mar morning :- I just checked with the feeders. One, a mixed long-hair, has been taken up by a family in the east. Cat was supposedly left abandoned for 3-4 weeks prior. The other, a ginger-brown with white socks, was previously a shopcat in a medical hall. But the shopkeeper moved out and left the cat there. She is not young, est 5-6 years old. Appears to be missing previous owner. Current neighbours have taken turns to feed her, while a regular feeder visits her in the evenings after work to check up on her. Said to be gentle and tame, and likes lightly fried fish. Buying encourages breeders, and its a known fact that many breeders are out for the money and not for the welfare of their animals (and this isn't an Asian thing, it occurs in the West too). And hopefully, our cafe-hopping cat-loving BWers will also wise up and refrain from supporting such irresponsible businesses. If your cat lives indoors and has its normal instinct to groom itself you don't really need to bathe it (though you should brush its fur regularly). Most cats are afraid of being immersed, so if you really do have to wash it then avoid immersing the whole body at once. You could try using a hose or sponge and washing it in stages.
