Ive gone to 2 of their light sticks events and I must say the turnout is damn good. I just left tonight's one and the maze is still full of people at this hour. Awesome

 

bigdanbeam, i went to their light stick event as well but it is just a copy of the grindr event at superstar sunday at zirca. a few years back, zirca superstar hosted by dj george leong use to have the grindr event where the clubbers are given light sticks too to indicate their roles and stuff, it was really a hit and it was fun. and now didnt expect cruise to copy the same gimmick and use it as their event. how original when it is just a copy cat thing

Was very disappointed with the crowd today and of cause the club.Totally felt cheated. They put today as events day but when I checked the website, the was no * beside the "sunday event". The staffs there were nice to apologize on the mistake but I guess there was nothing much they could do either. So surprising, they drew the * on the counter where they place.their calender event. I went to check the other posters in the club but didn't see them changing it. I find cc to be ridiculous because they have events almost everyday. I seriously feel they should consider letting us use the free pass they give. If not I don't know why they keep giving it to me if i can't use it.

There are a bit more than usual yes. But of course, you have their fans as well, so don't expect to only see gym muscle fit guys 

 

And to avoid problems with prices and entrance fees and what some call "rip off", just get those multi-entrance cards, 6 for $88 I believe and a lot of times, they give you 2 free passes so that makes 10 for $88 but the free passes have restrictions. "Of course" some might want to add

 

And copy cats... who cares as long as it's fun and it works?

 

These places are for fun, why think so much about this or that before going? There are enough options around to not patronize such or such venue. We are all free to chose the place and pay the prices we are thinking is worth the value...

because a lot of young ,good looking ones come to this particular sauna..which i duno why,really a lot good looking ,body fit.,the other sauna dun have this much amount,thus  will attract many people,while for the events,i being to some ,not really much happening,dun feel is any special than normal days..best day to go is tuesday,wensday,friday.    tuesday is where many young and willing,wenesday is muscle body type coming,while friday is very good looking, muscle body,got young and  old,most crowded day.

Check the terms and conditions on the card itself. At the same time, you are most likely not be able to use it on event days.

All the free passes cannot be used on special event days...

 

Again, they are free and bonuses.... so yeah, take them, use them if you can, and if you can't give them to someone else or toss them. You didn't technically pay for them anyway.

 

As a rule of thumb, any day or event that has a little asterisk next to it is considered "special". You can always call them or try using your free passes but 99.99% of the cases, it will be a no. As long as you know it, no need to get all worked up about it.

 

And I consider their staff quite active. The ones at the entrance... well they are there to man the reception, what else do you expect? But I do see other people walking around often enough to clean the rooms, adjust the air con, etc...

 

What I find gross is the people who pee during their showers.... why would one do that???

What's new about cruise! All the events are just a rip off so that we can't use the free pass they gave us. They should change their club name to cheat club!

You have "statues" and posers every where. Can't help it. I wouldn't call them posers or statues. We all have our taste and preferences.

You could call yourself "average joe" and still be labelled by someone you just turned down a "pretentious poser". So yeah. All is relative.

Take rejections with philosophy and move on to your next guy. No big deal.

And yes Cruise usually enforces their theme nights. They have staff "patrolling" the second floor for nude nights in particular. Underwear or street wear not so much but again, that matters less. But for skin nights, it's just fair that everyone is nude

im sure some people start off nice....but like what others said, we have tastes and preferences and will reject people, cant be accepting everyone. some nuisances cant take no for an answer so people start to protect themselves more and pose around....to not give anyone wrong impression first. being nice doesnt work.

Does anyone notice for consecutive months... all their tues, fri and sunday nights are ... "events". I know these are free days for the cadets, but aren't they just trying to exploit the paying customers by charging event prices when there really isn't that much of an event. We typically pay two-three times the normal value for entry on these "event" nights. In all fairness, there would be more traffic on these days due to the possible volume of cadets, but don't go charging extra on your paying customers without making the extra effort to justify that extra. I'm sure they will get by with the crowd on those days charging regular entry prices, but this is just greedy and opportunistic... no wonder cadets no longer patronize the place once they graduated, CC, time to think about how to encourage customer loyalty... 

 

I have a good mind to boycott the place on those nights and going on regular nights instead for the month of october. Let them house all the cadets they want, without us paying customers, and see how long they can hold on. It's about sending a message to the management where it hurts. What do you guys think?

I think u have totally misunderstood the meaning of statues or posers.

Not that they reject others, but more like they dont initiate even though they have found someone they desire. So ended up most of them just stand there like statues waiting for one ano to initiate.

Whereas in ano smaller sauna i frequent, most pple there are willing to take the initiative, whether goodlooking or not.

He starts to get violent verbally and physically. He starts to gang up with others to belittle me by calling me names

Ya. I guess whoever is doing the marketing isn't using much of his brain or should i put it as they/he has no creativity. They are just going to make the club bankrupt if keep letting cadets enter for free. I feel like they like to copy alot of other clubs event. Most times we dun hurrily look away due to the darkness. I mean we have to take a second or closer look in the darkness first before deciding to reject or not rite?

I just left CC... dissatisfied.

First of all, I chked their website before coming, n there was no poster stating it is event nite, so I have to pay more to enter. And their event nite like what other Bwers have mentioned, it is uneventful at all. Just make pple wear undies, switch off the lights n provide light sticks, and they call this event nite?!

They have a lot to learn from Abs on what is considered and how to organise an event nite.

Really feel cheated.

Secondly, yes it was quite a big crowd tonite, n many are fit types, but like what some of the Bwers mentioned in prev posts, most of them are statues. You can practically see rows of statues along the maze.

And if you want to argue that they are waiting to hook birds of the same feathers, then by right they should have hooked or gotten hooked easily since there were so many fit guys around. But according to my observation, most of them including the goodlooking n fit ones were standing or walking ard most of the time, n many rooms were empty.

Thirdly, a few of them were so persistantly following, groping and pulling me even though I have indicated politely I am not interested in them. I dont have this problem in the other two popular saunas. Over the other saunas, a subtle rejection was sufficient to turn down an offer.

Fourthly, the temperature of the steam room is so inconsistent. It is not very hot in the first place, n sometimes the whole room was not hot at all.

Last but not least, I agree with one of the Bwer that the red lights in the maze really cheapen the whole place and makes it look like old school red light district. For lightings, I think they have to learn from Keybox.

Finally, I will just quickly use up my free passes which have lots of terms and conditions, and expire in one month... after which thats it, NO MORE CC for me.

That was a guess... and as Guest above said, they wouldn't be the first or the only one doing so.... clubs and bars "invite" local models, giving them incentives to come and frequent their businesses: 50% off drinks, free drinks from say, 11PM to 1AM, etc... etc...

 

You gotta attract your crowd and for that, you need your "beautiful people". It's business... nothing would surprise me....

 

All these saunas are places where you can find a quick fix anyway, not sure why so many people get all worked up with such or such types of people. Just go, enjoy and don't take things personally. Not every visit can be your lucky day, same as in "real life" (I mean outside the sauna ).

years back when tc is around, they have differentiate their "hot" member through membership number and when these member have not turn up for a while, they will email free entry to them....

it make sense as if I am the owner of the sauna, by paying 5 statues to come and in return get 50 more guest in, why not?

 

this is actually quite common for biz that need to attract crowd.....not surprising
