It happened to me a few years back.

It was an older cousin whom I was pretty close to.

It also gave me an opportunity to come out to him.

One afternoon, I walked out of my bedroom toilet naked after showering,

To my surprised, he was in my room, standing in front of my CD rake looking for a CD.

He had sent his mum to my place for a visit.

Thankfully, the mothers were both downstairs.

My cousin was shocked to see me standing there totally naked.

I stood there embarrassed and tried to cover my private part with my hand...

My cousin let out a laugh and commented cheekily...

'Ha ha... After all these years, you still have not reached puberty ah?'

How come still no hair one?'

I quickly grabbed a boxer and dash back to the toilet.

Upon exiting, he was still looking for the CD.

He candidly asked what happened to all my hair.

I told him that is for hygiene reasons...

Not ready to believe what I said,

He decided to probe further by joking asked whom am I trying to impressed?

I was trying to avoid his questioning...

But the more he persisted, the more excited I got.

Started to tent in my boxer short.

It was when he popped the question.

"Boy, you like men issit?"

I've been shaving my pits and sometimes waxing my legs....

 

I always wear singlet / topless and shorts at home, so far no question asked... 

 

As for friends, we often take off sweaty jerseys after our footballs games, no question asked too....

 

No relative or friend has seen my waxed private part, so don't know what will be their reaction.... but have attracted stares from strangers in changing room...

I think typically, stranger or not, they will stare.

The way an individual style/ groom their pubic region is not normally visible to others.

Hence, whenever opportunities arises for me to learn from others the various approaches of grooming ourselves down there, I will definitely seize the opportunity!

for those who are ... mostly vain..lol

tend to trim their pubic hair to match their moustache.... a slim trim look

tend to trim their pubic hair to show the pattern that matches their cute goatee

 

some just have nothing better to do...

try to cut out the edges using electric shaver.

happily impressing themselves with cool styles

to the point that it looks weird in front of the mirror

 

some even worst..

they started with some cuts here and there

but imagination and fantasy creeps in

and then started to actually shave it all

then regret it...

LOL

 

some just cant be bother to do anything about it

thinking that it will grow again if they keep it trim

even go to the extend that they love the smell of it.

LOL

Not difficult at all.  I have been doing it for years.  Just be comfortable with the razor.  If you can shave your face without a mirror, you can shave your ass. 

 

I do it in the shower, under warm running water with lots of soap.

After I started it, follicles got irritated, despite constant cleaning, developed stubborn cases of pilonidal cysts, like painful pus and bleeding boils in the butt crack area, lasting YEARS. Some docs recommend surgery. Lately with only occasional scissors trim, it has improved.

How to feel less irritated if one has super long foreskin and doesn't want to trim the pubes. The foreskin is so long that even when erected, the head is still fully wrapped and the pubes will always get trapped inside the foreskin.

Depends on what is your goal. Shaving is painless, but the hair grows back pretty much the next day, and you get a stubbly effect. Waxing, while initially is painful for some, the pain is relatively tolerable. The results are longer, and the hair growing back, becomes softer over time. I wax regularly, and I do get hard once in a while, when the waxer is pulling my dick to make the skin taut, but it is nothing really sexual.

I have tried waxing but not in the groin area.

 

For me, the pain was tolerable. I believe it'll depend on the pain threshold of the individual.

I like trimmed above the penis but balls, perineum and ass fully smooth. Have done waxing there many times, surprisingly not that painful at all. Now I get it permanently removed, though, so will have no more need for shaving or waxing anymore.

 

I imagine that waxing above the penis where the hair is thicker will be more painful, but haven't tried.
