Do you guys have NL membership? The benefits look so meh.. But I guess for the discounted rates?

I always pay to clock miles if I need some spending. But I seldom go after the chijmes branch stopped service temporarily

Hey all,
I'm Zacron, and I have been a regular reviewer of MBs and massage centres in Southeast Asia, especially in Kuala Lumpur (and very little in Bangkok as well as Jakarta).

If you are keen to read my reviews, I have started a telegram group (together with a few other reviewers from this forum)

Feel free to join as it is free for all. Do not that the group is not controlled by me, but roughly by 10 other reviewers that we call them as Mamasans (and they are anonymous) to ensure no biasness or self interest happening. These reviewers do not know each other, and independent to each other

Do join, and do share your honest reviews in KL. Being PLU is hard enough, so we don't want to make it harder hence why we created this group for honest reviews.

Chiaoo

You are given 1 warning point for spamming a such post in irrelevant threads/folders.

DO NOT SPAM any thread within a short time span!

Since your massage reviews are mainly for KL, DO NOT POST ELSEWHERE, other than "KL massage" thread, take note! Thank you!

went for a massage at zufu and there was a customer moaning really loud a few beds away and it just made the whole experience uncomfortable. people need to chill at these places

I wanted to go Zufu during lunch but there was no masseur available so I went Blossoms. However they didn't have any male staff available right away too so I changed my original order for a body massage to a foot massage. They gave a 2 pax private room which I thought would be quiet and cosy, but turns out the whole place was not sound proofed well so sounds of cars, people talking and even moans by a lady (and subsequently a guy) was heard.

For the massage I had a very weak tiong bu assigned so it was forgettable and I had already given up all hope for anything good so I just closed my eyes and tried to sleep.

I also observed that each room has its own private shower.

Anyone with a better experience to share?

Would appreciate if WL-goers can PM to share which therapist to select for a more well-rounded experience, less the older ones.

Tried J***s today. He is a very good therapist overall; his acupressure and strokes were very strong and effective, but it felt cold and distanced somewhat.

TIA!

Yes I tried James too. Decent massage and nothing sensual.

Went to QJ (second floor outlet near the escalator) for the first time this afternoon, and asked for a 90-minute body massage. Somehow the default is a fully-clothed dry shiatsu massage, in the open next to the foot massage chairs without curtains. As I lay down, I was unsure and clarified if it was a dry massage, and the masseur just responded, “对,指压 (yes, shiatsu)”. The only time oil was involved was right before the cupping he upsold, if only to facilitate the latter.

I checked the menu again as I was leaving, and saw no option for oil. So I’m a little confused about earlier posts saying shorts are optional. Do they offer clothing optional oil massages, and do I just say I want a body massage with oil? Excuse this noob’s ignorance.

To be fair, the shiatsu massage was really effective if rather painful. Just different from what I expected based on earlier posts here. 😅

If you are seeking oil massage, you will need to indicate to them in advance (oil massage that requires you to be partially unclothed). Reason being, there are limited bed space that allows privacy; the shop I went to only have one corner bed that allows the curtains to “cover” the bed fully and the rest of the bed space are open concept.

I went there a few times, before the session the masseur will ask if i want oil or otherwise. When I indicated oil, the masseur will then put up the curtain surround the massage bed and I will unclothe myself inside. So I guess your masseur just want easy way out?

Thanks both. I guess next time I’d state upfront at the counter that I want a body massage with oil.

Not sure if it was the easy way out, but 90 minutes focused largely on my shoulders and back seemed excessive (though I did say my shoulders were the most sore). My glutes and hamstrings were also sore from leg day!

I have the same experience during my first visit to QJ. I asked for oil massage (and yes, the masseur did put up the curtain while I was waiting to undress). At the beginning of massage, the masseur told me he going to dry press first followed by oil. Normally other masseur will dry press for about 5-10 mins to “open up” the back before applying oil so I thought is quite normal. He ended up pressed for a good 60mins+ out of the 90mins session! So I guess the selection of masseur is very important.

I would ask the person by 10mins when oil will be used if that happens. You are the customer and you can ask nicely, no harm. I generally won’t let them just run the session to their own liking…
