If you're used to being shirtless at home from a young age it's very difficult to change the habit. Since it's the house he lived in he's comfortable to be topless. I find many housing is built such a way that it faces directly opposite another blk, whether it is condo or hdb. So cannot say you are spying on your neighbour opposite your unit, cause can see the people inside the house quite clearly even you don’t stand at the window looking.

 

My current house is not facing directly to another block, so cannot see if there is any topless guy around. But i saw my neighbour staying on the same level as me which is a few units away from my unit, sometimes can see them come out of their house to hang their laundry at the corridor topless. Some family culture the men is always shirtless at home. I’m lucky to be living opposite such a family where our units are face to face. Dad and the two sons one in NS guards unit and one in JC as a canoeist are always topless at home. Dad is uncle but keeps fit so still in good shape. The two sons both got V shape toned bodies and 6 pack. Once in a while will meet them and say hi at the common corridor where I can check them out at close proximity as we have some small talk. They are this way in China too. 

I stay in a 3 stars hotel when i am in china and facing my hotel is an private apartment. Every night when lights are turned on in the house, i can see a few houses with men inside naked or just wearing underwear.

Reading this thread I realize I might have also unintentionally exposed myself as I used to live in those old school blocks that are opposite to one another and quite close. 

 

Usually the similar levels in the opposite can see into the kitchen as well as my room. 

 

A lot of times I would shower in the common toilet at night and towel myself outside the toilet. Have also left the curtains open while I sleep naked on my bed. Must have given free show to a lot of people. 😂😂

To these people, being naked at home is nothing illegal since it is their own house. But they do not know there are neighbours from opposite block who can see into your flat and it might become an offence in sg. Esp the flats in sg built close to each other and directly opposite others block. This is why it is best to buy a unit that is unblock and not facing any blk, so that you can naked all you want at home without worries.

I've too seen my china neighbour across doing the same thing at his laundry balcony.  I am staying on level 6 (last storey) and he is 1 level down mine. We are at the last corner unit and our laundry balcony in kitchen were facing each other. To me this is rubbish. One can't even be naked or smoke or whatever fuck in your own bought or paid house means something is wrong. Some more we can blindly agree its wrong. This sounds more stupid. Being naked in public is wrong but not behind closed doors. Windows are open means the neighbour can anytime dont look at the nude person. Can I say the onlooking neighbour to close their window? Cannot right? Same goes for the nude person. So stop saying it's an offence to be nude in our own house. Thanks.

That law was introduced because there are neighbours who purposely exhibit their body to harass their neighbour. Imagine being unable to look out of your newly bought house because you might accidentally see your pervert neighbour who strut around naked or jerking off his cock for the whole neighbourhood to see under the pretext that they are in their private home... 

 

Here's a thought. You are in your private car jerking off. It's private car.. But it's full view for public to see. 

 

Its your private house but it's public view. Same logic la. Plus anyone who is in their right mind will also be like "Omg why I want to let my neighbour see my naked body."

When i m working in china n staying at rented apt, i can c people across e next apt naked at their home every nite. Not oni men but women as well.

Seems tat our people here r more conservative than China.
