Ummm... I think this is just being practical and not limited to mainland Chinese. When I was growing up, my dad would strip to his briefs and walk into the bathroom. When he comes out, he will just wrap a towel and go into the bedroom to put clothes on. There were a few occasions when he would come out naked but those were rare.

 

I think getting dressed in the bathroom is weird, as it is typically humid in the room, and you want to be really dried off before you put clothes on.

I always thought this was the norm for all guys...no? Stripping off and wearing a towel around the waist to go to the bathroom to shower. And partially dry off and wear the towel again. Go into the room to fully dry dry off and put your shorts or clothes.

 

I find it really strange to change into your clothes inside the bathroom itself. But to each his own I guess.

I do not like getting dressed in the bathroom.  It is humid living in the equatorial region and I prefer to dress in in my room after ensuring my nether regions are dry.  I have curtains, so my neighbours will not be able to see me walk naked from my bathroom to my bedroom.

Volunteered over the weekend to help out RC to collect old newspaper/ clothes for recycling. Am tasked to visit unit by unit to ask owners to bring out their recycle items. Another team will go around with trolly to collect these items.

 

Am quite surprised to see a numbers of guys were totally naked in the house, especially corner units. There was one corner unit with door half open, the owner were napping on the sofa totally naked with a raging morning wood. I stayed there drooling for a while before I rang the door bell. He was woken by the bell and look at me with that sleepy look, but does not seems to mind that he was totally naked. I have to act normal and try not to stare and say - “Hi.. am here to collect recycle items. If you have any, pls place it outside your units”… He say, “oh ok”.
 

Could not stay there for long as it will be very obvious and also I have lots more units to cover. 😉

Am not good at guessing man age. Ranging from 20 to 50 or so. The guy I saw sleeping totally naked on the sofa is around mid 30s or so, not model type body, but well maintain.

This reminded me doing flag day donation during my secondary sch days in 1990.

Me and my 2 classmates decided to go door to door for the donation and 3 of us went to different blk. I remember clearly i started at the last floor,14.  After all the units, i thought there might be a staircase at the end of the flat for me to go down to the level below. But when I reach the end and turned left, it was not a staircase but a last corner unit by itself. It was really kinda good privacy because nobody will go to the end. The wooden door of this unit was open and when I am about to knock the door, I saw a mop moving left to right on the floor out of the bedroom door. He continued mopping the floor outside the bedroom and mop and mop into the 2nd bedroom. I knocked the door after he went into the 2nd bedroom. I am now doing part time food delivery at night. I am sure many guys wear only underwear or naked at home because when they open door to collect food, they always hide their lower body behind door.
