well , yea.... I tend to draw homoerotic art pieces on my computer and I keep that as a secret from my family.

I do that all the time. Haven't got questioned yet, but if asked, I will just say that as an aspiring artist, one needs to understand the human anatomy completely without the need to feel ashamed of one's art piece. :P

Or you could just upload them to Deviantart or Tumblr and delete from computer hahahaha.

It really depends how you define what is a secret, or whether the contents contains a shame which can or cannot be told, need or need not be told

Many people here thinks being gay/bisexual is a shame, thus it is a secret they discreetly guard to be from known.

But why is being gay is such a shame when it is you, yor true nature?

It all arises you had no control over your life, your choices, and your own beliefs that you allow the mainsteam to judge you and take over control to define who you are through their own unsound judgement.

Being gay is thus not a secret, nor do you need to tell anyone to justify you are sane and normal.

If the mainstream thinks they are sane, just look at the amount of damages those straight politicals and economists etc have done, proven by past and current history

Some secrets can be contained within the person who owns it.

EG - HIV

If you have AIDS , you don't have to tell anyone, if you decide to live a very low key sex life, by being responsible for the safety of others.

However, this information is better shared if you decide to have sex with someone who doesnt know your status, or if you need to declare a legal statement.

There are "light hearted secrets" which can be swipe aside, because it does not harm anyone.

On another level there are some informations you don't need to tell. They are either unimportant, doesn't concern anyone's business, is not an important relevant topic, or highly confidential informations that cannot be shared randomly

But there are secrets, or acts you know, or created, out of your wilfulness etc, which can harm or ruin another person's life, if you withhold it from the person concerned.

Why not confess once and for all, instead of living in guilt or shame for the rest of your life, that is if you have a conscience ?

You cannot have secets, and leave your suffering behind. To end it, you must end all forms of deceit in your life.

Secrets after secrets, lies after lies, you will be forever be caught in this vicious circle game which you created out for yourself.

It is very tiring.

The more lies and secrets you hide, the more you dull your own light.

The density of this world is a result of people having the lack of courage to admit their mistakes, hence create secrets as a form of a shield.

It soon become a game of pretense you play with yourself.

Many at times, it is better to admit your mistakes and secrets you hide, which you can forgive yourself from all your own struggles and deceit

I do believe firmly in the laws of karma.

Those who tell lies to hide their own shame, have to pay a heavy penalty for what they created for themselves in the first place.

I have seen this law operating too many times in my life in countless real life incidents.

When you fart in a room full of people silently, sooner or later, everyone wil know, who is the real foul player.

Everyone has secrets. IMO it'd be simply idealistic to imagine otherwise.

I've got life secrets, trade secrets, recipe secrets, etc. And we'd meet different people in our lives with whom we'd share some of our secrets, and in turn, be privy to theirs. That's what gives the extra spice to life.

It really depends how you define what is a secret, or whether the contents are classified or not. Some secrets are meant to protect a person / a group of people / a nation. Just look at the amount of damages those straight politicians & economists etc have done out there in the world. Humans wear masks. Different people different kinds of masks. That's all. Secrets are meant to be secret.

When I was in secondary school and JC, I struggled with some of my subjects a lot, and because my father is very strict and particular about grades*, I ended up forging a lot of his signatures whenever I did not do well for any test, and even for those tests that I had passed but did not hit above 60%.

 

(*once I failed an exam in Sec One and showed it to my dad. He physically and verbally whacked me for about 2 hours after that. So I told myself that I was never going to let it happen again. I could not show my mum either because she would defer everything to my dad and she would just tell me to let him see.)

 

In JC, my results got worse even though I studied like crazy. So for every term, I would sign all my poorly-graded scripts and eventually, my own report card, and hope that I would never get caught.

 

Always felt terrified after doing it, as if the whole world knew what I had done. So after every academic year, I would immediately destroy all the test and exam scripts to prevent any exposure of what I had done. 

 

It was not until university when I went to a different faculty (from what I studied in JC) and started doing a lot better that I finally dared to show my dad my results every semester with pride.

 

Now, having worked for a number of years and earning my own money, and with my dad getting on in age, it seems like such a trivial matter. But back then, I always felt like I would be hanged if I was ever caught.

 

I never told anyone about it, not even my mum or my closest friends, because part of me always felt ashamed of what I did.

 

Dad, I don't think you will ever read this  :D  but I want you to know that I never meant to hurt or deceive you by what I did. I was terrified of you, and didn't want to make you angry and risk getting whacked by you for hours. Please forgive me.

What do you mean that the paper has a hole in it? You tore it accidentally?

 

The teacher in the picture is Pietro Boselli. He is a real teacher but also models. I wish I had a teacher like that when I was in school.
