I wonder why so many people love shaving their pits…

Because they want to let ppl know they want to be char bo and fuss over small insignificant things about rheir body, and soend more money buying shavers , shaving foan and female Gillette shavers for armpits, and fret and moan when they forgot to shave armpits and meet a hot top guy.

Becos they have too much time and money to waste.

I'm late to the party but I'm obsessed with straight guys who shave their pits.

Found this great Tumblr account that shows real guys (mostly athletes) who shave their pits. It's the sexiest thing I've seen in a long time. Don't know why more guys aren't into it, LoL

The site is hairlessmanpits.tumblr.com

Also, this beautiful video from that site.

How is Ivan Zaytsev not more popular?! 😄

And here is my favourite image from the whole site: (It's Ivan again 🤤)

Yeah. Love hairless pits too.  Hairless pits are hot on fit guys 😛

Agree... Hairless pits on hot fit guys really turn me on. Those bodybuilders in my gym, those gym instructors in my gym and those muscular hunks in my gym are majority hairless under pits. They are sexy to max in the lockers room!

Find it more practical and it works well for my lifestyle.

Truly agree...new age men mostly no armpit hair. Sexy!

Hairless armpits are for Barbie dolls and Kens. Real men have stinky sweaty hairy armpits. Just let nature take its course.

To me, without armpit hair or cock hair,  a guy is a turnoff and not manly at all.

Masculinity is not defined by how much hair he has. Don't believe me? Look at the mirror to see how much hair you have? Are you less of a man compared to a female rat you find in the drain? 😁

I feel, as with most things, extremes are best avoided - such as overly bushy hair that cannot be contained or completely hairless through waxing

Haha. Kinda agree

Reducing frictionEdit

Armpit hair prevents skin-to-skin contact during activities that involve arm motion, such as running and walking. The same applies to pubic hair.

I think it really depends on how much you sweat, and whether you are the sort who does a lot of strenuous activities/exercise. I started shaving my pits, because I sweat profusely (I can work up a sweat just walking out of my flat and taking the lift downstairs), and I like to do a lot of exercises (where I sweat even more). So, I think shaving the pits is a good way of maintaining a degree of hygiene.

Guest Bushy vs hairless

Just now saw two guys videos. One guy with bushy bird bird while one hairless bird bird. Each has its own pros and cons. Somehow hairless cock looks neater and cleaner while bushy bird looks more manly.

I used to shave hairless but now very bushy. Try different style and see can lure guys or not! Some guys like hairless bird while some like bushy bushy.

erm then there is alot more hair to be shaved then........not just the pits.....
hair on top too , would that help in hygiene too?

I think that not many can carry off the skinhead look, so short hair would be good. Actually, that is the reason why everyone gets that crew-cut during BMT, no? Not as if you don't get to shower... It is hygiene.

Was it due to spread of lice?

I think BO is more related to what we eat, and hence secrete in our sweat, that then gets broken down by bacteria to produce those odours.

Frankly, those people who try masking their BO with deodorant or eau de toilette will only make things worse. There are the deodorants that contain alunminium oxide that block pores, and hence block the production of sweat, but I don't think that is healthy at all.

As for the olden days, I think people didn't care as much. There were much less air-conditioned, confined spaces, and much more open-air spaces. Hence whatever BO was more likely to dissipate and not be so severe. Imagine being stuck in a small meeting room with a person with bad BO...:(

Some guys tend to get in-grown hairs, and that can lead to all sorts of problems. In that case, shaving is probably not a good "solution". There are manscaping tools nowadays, including trimmers, so you can always give your pits a "buzz-cut" in that case.😜

Tried shaving once. It's the growing back period that's painfully itchy. Had to use loads of snake powder all day. Never again. I keep it bushy and crawling out of my t-shirt sleeves. Some Malay boys got so turned on in MRT, purposely stand close to my armpits while I'm holding up my arms onto the bar

If one is very sure that he no longer wants hair there, permanent hair removal is a wise move.

If the person already shave the hair, i think might as well go for permanent hair removal.

I saw a fit muscular bald ang mo and 4 jp men with clean shaven cock and armpit when I was in bkk yuno the same night. The ang mo still so masculine even thou everything was clean shaven. I was really turn on by him especially when his skin was smooth and white. So I disagree the saying of man is not manly without armpit hair and cock hair.

True....I m always turn on by those fit guys that are cleanly shaved.

Few years ago, my bodybuilder friend brought me to his gym that patronised by many hard-core bodybuilders. Saw all have hairless pit and pubic in the shower/lockers area.

Find that young generation like to be clean shaven too.

Also have seen those men with fully tattooed body tends to have a hairless pit and pubic in g spa and spa-1.

BO indicates the present of bacteria, as bacteria usually grow in moist and warm area of the body, notably the armpits or in between the toes.  Also true that a heavy meat eater can also emits some kind of BO.

The truth is, we are unable to eliminate bacteria on our skin. Our best bet is to keep our skin dry, by wearing clothes that do not trap the moisture, but allow it to wick away and evaporate. It is also why some deodorants use particles of Aluminium Oxide to block your pores, so that you do not produce sweat in those areas. However, don't forget that sweating is the main method for us to regulate body temperature, and preventing ourselves from sweating by artificial means can affect this temperature regulation.

Yes, and we rarely think about it.  Our whole body is covered by our skin,  and our whole skin has bacteria on it.

It takes a good long washing with soap to eliminate most bacteria from our hands.  Medical professionals must do this between patients.  Also, before we have our skin perforated by a needle in an injection or blood draw the site is carefully cleaned with disinfectant.  And if we get any cut, the band aid we put on it has also disinfectant.
