blind massage - tuina massage. its really good, the masseurs really know how to pinpoint the stiff areas. pricing wise its quite affordable, cheaper than sg.

oil massage - most of them only do back, no frontal. pricing definitely equivalent or higher than sg.

My Shanghai trip was great, and I managed to visit a local sauna on my last day in Shanghai.

Huli ; 2/F 415 Baotong Rd, the nearest Metro is Dongbaoxing Lu.

 

It was a good experience, I wish I had visited earlier LOL 

It is a local sauna, neighborhood,  not so high or atas if you compare to KeyBox or 10Men.

Have hot pool, Sauna and TV Lounge (resting area) 

The majority are mature and middle-class uncles. 

What I like is mostly they are very horny, direct and very open. Very different with guys in Singapore LOL 

 

If you are expecting a high-class sauna and a more private one-to-one room, this is not a place for you.

Just went to 微笑 and it was boring. The staff is friendly but that was it. An hour in 2 cops entered the place to check. Thankfully I wasn't doing anything (nobody really interested me and there weren't a lot of people) but that still spooked me enough to leave. The owner seemed pretty chill about it, he was probably used to it but still.

 

The officers didn't raid or bust the place btw, they really only came to check and left very quickly. So yeah, take that as you will

Went to 互利 today. The staff was not friendly at all. I went at the wrong time (not weekend) so there were almost no one there and I had to bother the staff to show me to some places. Many rooms had their doors closed, probably due to the low number of guests, so obviously it wasn't immediately obvious which door or room leads to where. The staff was willing to show me the ropes but I didn't feel welcome.

 

The place itself wasn't too bad, I loved the lounge and TV room. Some guests wouldn't stop tailing me around or peeping at me throughout the 1+ hours I was there, but they sure was too pussy to make a move. It took them till when I had decided to change and leave before there were like 3 dudes grabbing my tit and hinting at me to follow them to the showering area again lmao

 

Kinda curious about the weekend crowd, but it wasn't a great first impression. Luxun Park is amazing for grandpa lovers though, there are some extremely hot grandpas around 6-8 pm.

I visited HuLi on a very recent Saturday at about noon. 

 

To my utter disappointment ,the 24 hour  HuLi is closed.  I peered through the glass doors and based on the dusty footprints on the stairs, it looks like the place is under renovation. 

 

There was no one around that I could ask for clarification, so this is all I know and is all that I can report.

I visited a Spa called TangLianDe 汤连得.  It seems this is a chain, and I went to the ChangQing 长清路 Road branch.  It is said to be the biggest Spa in Shanghai, and there is a Men's sauna, Women's sauna and a mixed (dressed) area to relax etc.  There is also a corner for children. 

 

In the Men's section of the Spa, there is an open air section with hot water tubs.

It is said that this place has many gay patrons at night.  I was there early evening, about 6.00 pm, and took the opportunity to play when it presented itself.

The full name of WeiXiao 微笑 is

 

上海微笑 乒乓球 运动馆

 

It translates roughly to Smile PingPong Gymnasium/Sports Hall. 

 

When I entered, the guy in the counter asked me what spas/saunas I have visited recently.  I think this is their way of filtering out those straight and serious PingPong enthusiast.  I was also given a jersey and shorts (basketball type) to wear.  They do not encourage nudity in this place.

 

The long and short of it is that it is a gay place masquerading as a ping pong gymnasium so that it can remain under the radar.  

 

I would also presume that this is because Shanghai is cracking down on gay saunas.  

 

There are a couple of ping pong rooms which nobody visits, but the dark room is active in the early evenings.  I had fun there.  The place also has a karaoke room, and I played with someone's hairy "microphone" in there.

I went to Tangliande a couple of times, first time was with my ex. Always thought it was just a normal straight sauna, I wish I had had a similar experience

But you are right, there are many straights when I was there, so I had to be discreet.
