And lastly also agree that this year campus superstar standard very low, lousiest season ever. I think even the huang jing nian hua have much better singers compared to this year campus superstar. My guess is that due to the huge influence of kpo and english songs, our local younsters have lost interest in chinese songs. abang Posted March 20, 2013 Report Share Posted March 20, 2013 I watched this programme because I can share a common topic with the teenagers around me.Thanks to Leonard's rendition, it was the only song from my pre-2000 era. This is my opinion of the 4 finalists -1.That ITE guy is definitely the weakest one. His voice is limited by his mouth movements. He seems to be short of breath most of the time. He cant reach all the high notes and he is NOT good-looking, too a-beng for me. 2.That Nan-Chiao girl who was in the last 2 this week.She is quite good except she is super nervous on stage and she shows it.She should NOT try another Tanya Chua's song as her songs need a certain degree of maturity by going through several heartbreaks. 3 and 4Bonnie and Leonard are both photogenic and both can sing well.It will not be a surprise if both of them are in the final 2.Marketability - Leonard stands a bigger chance of stardom. He is older and with his marital arts skills, he can be groomed. The only thing against him is National Service.. but I think he will find time singing theme songs for future serials.
