Guest Guest
Just bought Seagate wires plus, 1T for $249. Can be assessed from laptop, iPad and iPhone. Convenient for me who is a frequent traveller. do u mean wireless plus? i heard those wireless ones are still not quite stable. get d/c at times and transfer rate not as fast. Guest Guest
Sorry for the typo, yea wireless plus. So at I don't find any instability on it. If you totally abandon the use of the USB 3.0 cable, you can use the wireless function. For laptop, you just need to make sure that you're connected to the wireless plus. You can then open your web browser to set and connect your wireless plus to your one wireless. Then it's basically done. For apple products, you just need to download an apps for it then voila, you can access to your hard drive from your whatever i products. I've been using it for a month and don't find any issues on the disconnection. For transfer rate, I usually using the USB 3.0 cable to transfer from whatever things to the hard disk.Kian thanks for the feedback. so transfer rate via wireless is much slower than usb 3.0? i thought that if i buy a wireless, i would wanna use it wireless all the way for all tasks. IkuTube
why my hdd unable to view file ? but in properties is indicate there were storage of files. how to undone to be able to view my files...with tks. Not sure if we have the same setup and PC configuration. Sometimes my external hdd (USB 3) seems to have this problem. When connected to the USB3 socket, I will not be able to view file but when switch to USB2 socket, it is possible. And sometimes gila-gila, when plug in to USB2 socket, can't view till I plug it to USB3. I have this problem only with Seagate external hdd USB3. For durability, can try the SSD HDD...even if break down can still retrieve data. Am using a Samsung for really impt data!
