Okay, here goes my honest feedback/field report about the StarLust event earlier on today:

Was there at about 7.45pm and the announcement came in 5 minutes later stating that the orgy will begin soon, which is at 8pm. But somehow it got dragged till about 8.30pm. Went up to take a puff and was observing the scene, honestly the crowd was very thin and apparently everyone was chatting and drinking the complimentary Tequila shots that were served.

Went up again at about 9pm and finally the scene gets a tad better, with people blowing one another on the bed and watchers by the side observing the actions. Went off at about 10.15pm and got to see a young top fucking a bottom with him sitting on the top and tonnes of watchers just watched by the side.

Now, let me give some of my good and bad constructive pointers (bash me if you want to, but I'm pretty sure some would agree with these pointers):

The good pointers:

• The event itself wasn't that happening until the proactive Absolute staff (I don't know if they were but anyway, I'm assuming they are) brings people in and entertain them by touching them and serving the Tequila shots, which in my opinion, helps to stir up the atmosphere and crowd to join in. (refer to bad pointer as well)
• The Tequila shots definitely draw people in because I had witnessed a couple of guys who were actually hesitating if they wanted to come in, but upon the shots served, some of them went in escorted by the (staff) with towels removed.
• Condom, lube and even poppers were given to people who are in action. On top of that, these were actually applied on/to them without them even touching it. It's a good thing because they don't get sticky or oily. Good job guys.

The bad pointers:

• Though the staff are no doubt proactive and enthusiastic, but there were actually 3 of them gathering by the entrance and shouting "come on la, join in la, don't be shy, come on" in sync which somehow scares the guy off instead of inviting them in for the fun. Then when there isn't anyone there, they all gathered again talking so loudly and even commenting some of the guys in the orgy.

  Personally, I feel that this is quite unacceptable because if they were the (staff), some professionalism should be executed by toning down both the volume and amount of unnecessary conversations. If there is a need to talk, maybe go elsewhere and speak softly. The noise and laughters can kill a person's mood in having fun.

• As it is my first time there, I have no idea if those are regular patrons or friends of Absolute, but during the fun where one is sucking off another, they are TALKING AND GIGGLING WAY TOO MUCH AND WAY TOO LOUD. Well, it may not affect any others but definitely for me. I was being sucked by one guy and two of them were by the side saying, "see he suck, suck harder la" and giggling at the same time. Worse still, one of the staff actually came over and ask one of the watchers to "you want to suck or not?!" in a pretty loud voice. I was so turned off and went out immediately.
• And when the only fucking action was going on, there was a group of watchers scattered everywhere commenting on the fucking accompanied with unnecessary giggling. I feel really bad for the top and I seriously wondered how did he even manage to finish the action when he knew people are giggling and all.

All in all, I feel there the amount of talking and commenting should be reduced TREMENDOUSLY and giggling should NOT even surface. Nothing is funny to begin with unless you tell me you saw someone fucking another's nostrils or something. I'm not referring to talking between people who are in action - in fact, that is absolutely acceptable. But those watchers, just keep quiet and enjoy the show if you're not participating (which you should in the first place since it's a mass orgy fun and what's the point if everyone is just gonna watch and nobody is willing to participate, right?).

If the above-stated pointers could not be meted out, then perhaps to increase the chances of a more successful mass orgy, instruct the patrons that everyone has to participate willingly and not idle around one corner. If that's gonna be the case, then collect $8.50 from them after watching the show (that's the standard price for weekend ticket, right guys?). But then again, if you guys think the current StarLust is pretty much successful already, then I'll just give you my a-p-p-lau-s-e.

Still, thank you Absolute for hosting such an event. I, somehow, did enjoy myself for a few moments.

Frankly speaking, with Singaporean culture, it's already quite amazing to see such mass orgy event on rooftop,I hv been to their orgy event a couple of times, the staffs are working hard to get the ball rolling, and of cos there are ppl who just need the staff to give them a push to Join in the fun, otherwise trust me... They will just simply stand there whole nite. Whether a event is happening anot really depends on everybody participations. I find the staffs who are helping at the roof are fantastic..and like you said.. A job well done!

If starlust is conducted in a smaller confined area and slightly dimmer, then chances of people talking and giggling will be reduced, rate of participation will increase. usually the crowd tends to get closer and more willing to touch each other when it's in a darker area simply because they can't see clearly. My five cents point of view. Perhaps rooftop still more suited for drinking tequilas only.

Locker area was really dark, had a hard time trying to locate my locker. The place is really spacious. Foam party was...not really well-planned. The amount of foam is not consistent at all. Sometimes over flooded, sometimes getting lesser but i can see that the staff did make the effort trying to maintain the amount of on-going foam. Staircase were terribly slippery. I would recommend them to place a few more towels to prevent customer from slipping.

 

Tequila shots were gd, freeflow and quite pure unlike CruiseClub that mixed with water for their event. 2nd floor dark maze is really really dark. You can hardly see anything and there's only a few room in there with no doors and lgiths.

 

If you want rooms with door, there's a few at the 2nd floor near the locker area. Some of the rooms there have doors, lights and ceiling mirror. Sauna is spacious and consistently hot enough. Definitely one of the best as compared to Cruise and KB.

 

Level of crowds for that night i reckon at about more than 30. Of course, if you are looking for those hunky, muscular kind, Cruise would still be the best choice. Quite a few foreigner in Absolute.

Thanks absolute for the great fun I had on the foam party.... You guys truly raised the level of what i call an Event,unlike cruise club.. A successful one indeed.. Great turn out last nite, roof top was packed with people, at least 50 ppl I think... Literately body touching body, haha..

I chose to go foam party last nite and forgo my lucky draw at cruise,and I din regret my choice!!! For those who missed the foam party, it's truly your waste....absolute had truly escalated my excitement from their starlust and foam party event.. Well done guys!, oh yes.. Love that tequila shots.. Haha you sure you went in there? I think there's around 40 people at the roof garden, and there are also quite alot of people in the dark room as well. Overall, I think is quite happening in absolute and it's fun. I think they put in effort in planning their event and I am Looking forward to future events

There were a lot of hot guys in my opinion having fun with each other... Everybody was touching everybody... It was packed.. And I don think those post were make by the staffs, why should they? U go and ask anyone who goes for the foam party, was it fun , packed and happening... If foam party is host regularly, then I don think its fun anymore..

Unless the revenue attract by this theme(foam night) is significantly much higher than a normal operating business day than the management would find it more worthwhile to organise it more frequently. One can imagine it is hell to clean up all the foam and aftermath of the party.

Also having a foam night on a too frequent basis will take away it pull and novelty factor. Absolute are very shrewd and clever in marketing campaign and business decisions.

Foam bubbles are relatively large so the flow of foam can be blocked even if there are gaps between persons, so it simply pile higher and higher till it overflows over the heads of persons. The relative small area of the rooftop also compounds the problem. So at any one time a "passage" way opens, the foam would flow in that direction and starts to pile up when it hits obstruction such as someone's back.

I think it is as safe as it can be as foam does not contain oil, especially mineral oil, which will denature latex.

I imagine cleaning up would be a beast. Anyway, I think it is good idea to try one Saturday evening. I don't think your patrons would mind if advance notice has been given that the rooftop will be closed for cleaning after the foam party on that day.

 

There were quite a number of guys who gave feedbacks in the past for a Saturday evening foam party. Maybe just give it a try and gauge the response in the next one?

The foam party event was REALLY REALLY GREAT last nite~~ been a while since I have so much fun~~ everyone is so liberate. So much groping and hugging and kissing and touching!! woh!! 

 

Ya~~ I do agree it could be good on a sat nite or even a fri. It sad to end the party early cox most ppl have to leave early due to work the next day. Also, the drinking last nite gave me a headache this morning~~haha~ it be better if its on a Sat~~ I wun have to bother with hangover.

 

i think I agree with Victorp. Its ok to even close the rooftop on a sun for cleaning if theres no event that require the rooftop. As long as the scrubbing service still operating I think its fine.

 

I think most ppl might suffer from dry skin after the party. Hence, would propose to combine the lubehall and foam party as one. Just a suggestion
