Bern
The concept of AR is not new, it has been explored before in many ways such as the lame augmented reality shooter games you see on Nokia phones. The recent Iron Man films especially showcased the potential of AR to the mainstream. But current AR technology is nowhere near that as seen in the film, in fact it has never truly made any significant progress to resemble something remotely groundbreaking despite years of development.Currently, Google Glass is the closest real life implementation we have to an Augmented Reality device, but it's still in its rudimentary stage, costs US$1,500 each and only available to beta testers. Now what if one day we managed to master the technology?Would it be something like what we see in this video?http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8GcYWdg81BQHere's a Google glass demostration for your viewing pleasure Quote Join the official BW Telegram Group Chat: https://bit.ly/frmbw
BranLim
Given the rate of technological development, it will be within 10 years that we see the above. Give it another twenty years, technology would have progressed so much that people born in the 1980s will be so lost and confused and at the same time awed beyond comprehension. And we will get there.
