Episode 4 was recorded on 28 January 2016. 张信哲had a very bad flu. His voice got affected very badly. He was at the hospital before the recording of Episode 4. Because of this, his placing is not very good (bottom half). 黄致列 sang "Bang Bang Bang" (the Korean boy group Big Bang's song). He danced as well. Rumored to be #1. Coco and 信 are rumored to be in the Top 3, together with 黄致列. 徐佳瑩 sang《莉莉安》 It seems 黄致列 is consistently in the Top 3 for all the 4 episodes so far (#2, #2, #3, #1). That is fantastic for a foreigner in a Chinese-biased singing competition...even last year's The One did not have such consistent high rankings in consecutive episodes. Look like both NaYing's songs not very lucky....the korean got the worst result from his previous top 3 results and ZhaoChuan even got eliminated. What amazed me....his chinese pronunciation is better than most non-chinese singers so far this or similar shows... how he (and also others) can remember how each chinese char sounds as they sing....of course, practice many times....but that'll mean they must rehearse more than the rest. Maybe they have some screen in front to show the words....but for him, he was closing his eyes most of the time...haha. This song he added some korean parts in the middle. I saw some of his clips in korean shows. Find him quite a simple humble person who can laugh at himself. Quite cute. Here he spoke more chinese in this show. This week's No 1 No 2...i like this....really pull u into the song..... No 3...so the challenger got to stay. And 信 sang Amei's 彩虹 for his return performance. Read that next week....already recorded....leaked by someone....the previously-joined singer 王晰 will be eliminated....looking at today's performance (no 7)...he still sang in that low voice style. Guess last week, his 1st appearance....that mexican/latin song suited his voice so he got no1....but to sing other chinese songs in that same style, not that nice. But the one got eliminated is 王晰 b'cos they combined with last week's result (he was last). Next week will have challenger 金志文, 2012中国好声音finalist. Interestingly they are also among top 3 in round 1 results. And one is HK-born, S.Korean and Taiwanese. According to earlier predictions and round 1....seems like Coco Lee got high chance.
