I used to have phimosis.

I would just like to tell everyone here. Almost all phimosis conditions can be corrected if you commit religiously to skin stretching exercises. Circumcision is almost always unnecessary.

Yes, me.  Not cut tight enough the first time, and as I got older it loosened up more.  Had it done again last year to tighten it up.

No, because he took 1mm from the glans side of the scar, and 1.5cm from the shaft side, creating a new neater scar than was there before.

I was bandaged for most of the first week and the stitches were painful for the second, so there wasn't the desire to wank.

I started from the middle of the 3rd week to wank as it was pretty painful before that.

The doc said I was healing well so he had most stitches removed at the end of the second week. (I had a mouth gag to bear the pain during the removal.)

 

My remaining stitches fell out (got loosened up) around 3rd/4th week in my case.

No stitch tunnels remained though.

 

If you give a tug and it hurts, it means the stitches aren't ready to be removed.

Wow Darkflame-san, did not realise you have actually had the procedure. Does your family know? Friends and colleagues, since it sounds like you were out of action for a bit?. Did you have it done in Japan? Korea?

Was in Seoul for 10 days, but doctor recommended minimum of 5 days for post-op care.

No check up done locally.

No anaesthetics during stitch removal.

As I got older (50s now) my circumcision worked looser.  What I always liked was the feeling of tightness when I got erect - that there is no movement in my shaft skin.  So, I had it done again just for one reason, to tighten it up.  The doc. removed just around 1.6cm more foreskin to tighten up my shaft skin.

Getting it done in Korea was a good choice in my opinion.  I've met a few Korean guys (mainly at the Babylon Sauna in Bangkok), and without exception they had the neatest circumcisions.

You can google 'circumcision Seoul' to find the doctor.

Since it is a sort of medical tourism, you will need to make an appointment.

Their procedure is more or less the same as circumcision at clinics around the world...

Interesting question . . . . somewhere I read that in the UK its the fastest growing adult male elective surgery.  There are three or four clinics in London which seem to specialise in nothing else except circumcision.  I've also heard that in the US, where the procedure began to fall out of favour around 20 years ago, its on the increase again.  When I lived/worked in Bangkok (where traditionally they do not circumcise) there was a report from the Ministry of Health, quoted in the Bangkok Post, suggesting that Thai men should get circumcised for health reasons.  On the other hand, I heard that the trend in South Korea, which since the 1950s has had a very high circumcision rate, is now decreasing.  SO, difficult to say what the general trend is.  Anyone have any other thoughts on this?
