Here is my feedback: (1) I had known the therapist (who is also the trainer for the workshop) from prior appointments and as usual, he was very patient in answering my initial enquiry before I signed up (2) Leading up to the workshop day, he shared reminder and reference materials. I was impressed by the amount of materials he shared, which clearly showed that he was keen to share his knowledge / passion. I suppose the amount of material may be overwhelming to some, but for certain those who have an interest to know more can read up accordingly. The materials that were shared can be divided into (a) the topics he will cover during the workshop (b) additional materials that you may download as you please (3) The workshop itself, IMO, was done nicely, considering it was one of the firsts that was organized. Everything was ready on arrival. The steps were explained clearly and simply which made everyone comfortable. The instructor went around to guide and correct as the participants paired up to practice (4) I signed up alone, not with a friend. I did not have much time to interact with the guys who joined that day as I arrived on the dot and left immediately after but they were all nice and respectful during the workshop. Overall, I found the session informative and I did go away learning something new. If anyone has quesitons, please DM the therapist / trainer for more information as he will be in the best position to answer your questions. Happy learning! The teaching material was sent to me one week before the session, but I have to say it is a little bit overwhelming. I DO APPRECIATE ALVIN'S EFFORTS and his generosity of sharing what he knew. I have been visiting him for the massage and hair waxing service for many years. His service has been consistently good, and he knows what I want without asking me. He is certainly very knowledgeable in this field. The workshop was fun. The attendees were friendly. I was a little bit shy at first but after a while, I started to enjoy the moment of getting massage from another attendee, and massaged him in return during the practice. Alvin assisted me and corrected my posture, the proper way of execution. I truly loved that session. It has a few rounds of practice, each round to pair up with a diff partner, so I had the opportunity to touch diff individual bodies, and let a few more touched my tool. :))) That night I left the workshop with a few new friends. We exchanged numbers, and plan to join the workshop as a 'couple' in the future. I do highly recommend this workshop if you really want to learn more about massage. sasoriboi Posted August 22 Report Share Posted August 22 decided to treat myself to a nice massage for my birthday. have been going to Alvin for waxing (of which he's great) but have never had a massage with him before. needless to say, he was fantastic! he was able to find all the sore spots in my thighs and back, and was able to work out my knots very well. it was slightly painful but felt great after. good for recovery since i run, swim, and workout quite a bit. highly recommend if you're looking for a good massage would come back again!!
