Everything and anything goes but it is also an interesting place because of that very same reason. One does not simply approach edmw with the mindset of expecting intelligent discourse (although it CAN happen and yes, I've seen it happen) but rather, a laissez-faire attitude so that you will be less turned off by the general trashiness of the place while you search for interesting stuff. It's a bit like visiting a red light district; shady as hell but occasionally you'll find something so wonderful that makes all the filth-digging worth it.
