It's typically Snakehead when cooked by the Cantonese. Can buy best value at Chinatown Complex wet market in basement, where they'd label it as 生鱼... Friendly Posted July 1, 2016 Report Share Posted July 1, 2016 Having say what comes to my mind.. nothing taste as good as home cook..lor Jcho if you like to put everything into your roasting pan and just let it cook.. i have a chilli paste for this way of cooking. If you are interested PM me and i would be proud and happy to give you the recipe for the chilli paste which is direct from grandmother. The paste can be use to cook bake curry chicken,BBQ fish and others. You can make the chilli paste and freeze it and use it when ever needed. For me I like to mix my own herbs, if I buy the ready pack herbs I normally use half a pack of herbs only for one small black chicken reason this herbs are heaty, so onces a month for this dish is ok.
