I have stayed at both Quarter SIlom, and Ibis Styles.

The room itself is better at the Ibis.

The pool is better at the Ibis (roof top and some sun)

I prefer the gym at the Quarter, also I think location of Quarter is better.

I went during non event times, and I felt the gay vibes were more obvious at the Quarter

Agreed

Best location

Great room and facilities

If it's going for $50 a night, I would give up my points collecting nonsense to stay there

Planning on going to Thailand in the near future and I want to visit bathhouses. My type is definitely older uncles and daddies (the older the better, I’m ok with grandpas). Where can I find these men? Thank you!

How old are the uncles there?

The uncles there look like they are in their 50's or 60's to me.

I have not seen any uncle in there who I would class as being in their 70's or 80's.  Maybe there are, and they are young looking - I cannot tell.

There are some patrons who are younger, of course.

Planning a trip to Bangkok beginning of June. Based on recommendations from this forum, I am planning to stay at the Quarter in Silom.  Planning to do a lot of cruising in the area, does anyone know if the hotel staffs would have any issues of me bringing back people I hook up with for short term visits.

Thanks for the link.

I understand some people in the Thai border make money from "helping" travellers complete the Thai arrival card.  I suppose these people will now have to find a new source of income.

Means we can only register within 3 days prior to arrival? Cannot much more earlier?

Yes, cannot register one's arrival into Thailand any earlier than 3 days prior.

This time limit is the same for Singapore's and Malaysia's electronic/digital arrival card.

Ah i see.

is it fun? 😜

reasonably clean?

Fun - it depends on whether you are willing to approach people or not.  But generally speaking, the patrons are quite approachable.  I have had fun there, and I cannot remember ever leaving the place with my balls still filled with cum.

Reasonably clean - yes, I do find it reasonably clean.

I wish you lots of fun there.

The last two times I went, the person at the counter collecting money was a female.  At least, that's what she appears to be.  I cannot tell if she was born a male or a female.  In any case, I just pay my money and head towards to lockers to strip and enjoy myself in Heaven Sauna.  The person at the counter was not of interest to me.

And you collect your towels from the bar after you have paid and entered the establishment.

I hope this helps.

I read there is a new Onsen in Bangkok, called Bangkok Onsen.

The address is 1110/7 Sukhumvit Rd, Phra Khanong, Khlong Toei, Bangkok 10110, Thailand.  The nearest BTS station is Phra Khanong.

It can be found on Google Map.

I have not been there before, but I plan to visit it the next time I am in Bangkok.

Has anyone been there?  How was your visit?

Thanks for the information.

With that many Onsens in Bangkok, I wonder if there are enough patrons for them to survive.

I have been to Maxwell and Zen onsen, and I liked these two.  The two others I visited did not inspire me to return, so much so that I have forgotten their names.  😁
