anyone visited Talad Neo?
Talad Neon - New Nightmarket : worth your time? could you compare it with like Asiatique?

Went Talad Neon yesterday, almost 65% of it are food stalls, smaller than rod fai (went there too) and with lesser variety of clothings/accessories to buy. But the entrance got live band

Not really, unless ur trip is to visit and explore! You can choose to have dinner there if you want (night market/street food can be both cheap and delicious, some don't lose to restaurant food)

Talad Neon is more for convenience sake I think, cause it is just in downtown Bangkok..

Rod Fai is a night market at Srinakarin area, much larger but not as convenient (need to take BTS to Udom Suk then take taxi)

Patpong Night market (nearest station is Sala Daeng or Silom) has two lanes of shops (4 rows interfacing) that sells these. 40% would be selling these, the rest are smaller goods, home decorations, thaiboxing shorts etc. But be prepared to haggle, imitations are also not cheap. And there are different grades of imitations also...don't buy imitation lah, not really worth it! :D

tks Tom!
I knew the answer is this!!!!! I was wondering would there be other options, but I didn't know two lanes of shop?? I need to sharpen my eyesight

of course it is not worth , I just wanna throw to the kid and case close before the neighbour keep reminding me

I pass by these nite markets before, I have glanced at them and moved on..........I cant believe I m buying one NOW!

but I didn't noticed 4rows interfacing and ie the 2 lanes of shop!

many lanes of stalls yes!

glad that none of  u suggested  Khao San Night Market (Heard a lot about this backpacker's area - hence so called cheap) but many bloggers beg to differ

Is Asiatique still the newest night market in BKK?

There are some recommendations for a trip to Khai Yai I bumped into recently. Apparently this town is 3 hrs drive from BKK. The pictures taken and posted on the website seems so unbelievable. Anyone been there?

https://Thailand.tripcanvas.co/Khai-Yai/best-things-to-do

Try the new Suan Lum Night Market Ratchada closeby Latprao mrt stn.

Suck my tits and I'll lick your balls.

Lick my arse and I'll suck your cock.

All in sex is fair.

The only bad thing about sex is that it doesn't last long enough.

No, avoid Patpong for those designer fake watches. Avoid touristy spots for this. I heard years ago of MBK selling class A replicas. There should be somewhere i BKK selling really nice replicas.

why half closed?

technically it's closed, meaning it is no longer allowed to have market stalls on the sidewalk of Silom Road. However, as apparently the first 50cm or so of the sidewalk in front of buildings are property of the the building's owner rather than public space they still set up shop hugging the buildings. Not big stalls like before, but still... So on the building side of the sidewalk you still have some, whereas on the rest of the sidewalk there are none, i.e. it's "half closed".

Having said that, the night market of Patpong remains totally unaffected as that entire road (connecting Silom and Surawong Roads) is private property and they can do as they please there.
