Anyone of you ever tried Candle Thai Spa at Rama City Court4? You should give it a try if you haven't. The place is really classy and the masseurs are all well trained in massage. An hour massage will cost you around baht600 and there is a minimum tip of bht1000. Check with the mamasan if there is any changes. If this is the first time you are going, don't act naive. The masseur might ask you for more. So, its important to ask the mamasan what is the minimum tip. They won't mind your physical size. Ha ha maybe the size of your wallet might be of interest to them.

A taxi from Silom to your place should not be more than..roughly.. 80 Baht. Make sure that the taxi driver turns on the meter, if he refuses, just take another one. There are enough taxis around. It can be helpful to have a paper with a description of the way to your place (in THAI). Ask the receptionist to do it for you. Be sure that the Silom area is gay friendly and safe. With the famous Bangkok jam, you might have to fork out quite a bit if you are travelling by taxi to Sukhumvit. If you are staying near MBK area, then you should have no problem getting to Hero/Albury by BTS. If you take from National Stadium (MBK Station), you need to change at Siam station for the On Nut line. If, you can walk to Siam, then you go to the level for ON Nut line. Stop at Nana station and find Sukhumvit Soi 11. Its very nearby if you get out at the exit on your right side. When you get to Soi 11, you can find motor cycle taxis. Just go to one and tell them you are going to Hero or Albury. The charge should be just 20-30 baht. Need not be shy about saying you going to the 2 massage places. They won't blink an eye when you tell them your destination. On your way back, you might have to walk unless you can find a motor cyclist nearby. I always walk on the way back.

Actually the target date is not CNY yet, no idea whether your collegues all block to take leave those days already

I oso still waiting approval on the leave, once got the dates will pvt u and checking again, by mid this month supposed will know already. If no kaki than will act as previous trips loh lone ranger

6pm is prime JAM time in BKK. Do take the advice of the posters above and just use the BTS to get to the nana station. At soi 11 just take a taxi / motorbike taxi / walk. It will be MUCH MUCH MUCH faster. Trust me on this one.

Oh no, do not ever take the tax during rush hour.

My sincerest advice.

You will literally cry.

Take the BTS as advised by trugel.

The BTS where your hotel is is so near to Nana.

I think 3 or 4 stops.
