Bangkok ( Thailand ) - Massage / Sauna Compiled)

Decided to go over since tix had been booked. Just wondering how to spend the days alone.  :D

Will be there from 8 till 12. Staying around silom area. Anyone want a pal to go out, have meals or just for coffee/drinks can pm me and we can exchange numbers.

You should stay at Babylon Bed & Breakfast (barracks).  Many singles of all kinds (farangs, Asians, old, young) stay there and it is so easy to interact during breakfasts and get plenty of advise from the regulars, plus finding some eager to explore together.  You are at walking distance from Silom,  and if the sex at the Babylon sauna is not hot enough for you you can walk to Sauna Mania, or take a metro ride to the new R3 sauna...

Heading there right now.

definitely going back to Yunomori but might give a pass to sauna.... They bore me hah

After a lot of sauna activity I also get drained and bored...  for a while.  But this does not reach by far the boredom with other gay entertainment like gogo bars, other shows.

I stay away from spas because I don't like anybody to fool around with my body with the excuse of some sexual experience.  I can exercise my body very well in the gym and in one-on-one interactions of honest and hot sex.  I think this active exertion beats hands down (but on) any passive "massage".

Hi, for a newbie that first time visiting Bangkok and intended to explore gay places, how should i plan the itinerary? izit necessary to hire a private tour guide at Bangkok?

Dont think so. Ask here and people will guide you as the collective experience here is quite significant. The gay places are all close together and easy to find. First thing would be if you want to stay in the gay area, Silom. If you do then everything will be within walking distance but nothing happens till after dark so you will need to find something else to do in the day time.

Hi, i found a lots of people sharing their good experiences in places like massage, sauna, disco. For solo traveller, how i'm suppose to approach those places alone? need to have interaction with others?

How is the scene at Babylon these days? The last time I visited late last year, the place was quite quiet, not as crowded as before, and mainly Caucasians. Pity since the place is really a class in its own, with the nice pool, gym, dry and wet sauna and huge cruising areas.

For first timer, one should at least pay a visit. But if looking for real action, esp if one is into muscled young guys, can't beat muscle mania.

You can hire a private tour guide at Bangkok.  He will take you to all the touristic and shopping places where he has some deals to bring his customers. This is ideal if you need someone to make you spend your money. (this is maybe more a case of touring the city than the "gay places")

Why would you need a guide to tour the "gay places"?  You can make your virtual tour before getting there!  Take a look at the website travelgayasia.com.  They have a good description of the gay scene.  Then use maps.google.com  or any other mapping utility and find the places you like to go.  Get their location on the map.  Find ways to travel there, mostly walking and using public transportation.   You can use a site like transitbangkok.com to get information. Any time you dedicate to planning your trip in advance will be well spent.  It is nice to be able to find your way around.  It is useful to have a smart phone with GPS,  or at least,  a compass.  Then, when you are there,  go, go,  visit, visit, and have fun.

The scene at Babylon is exactly the same as it has always been.  Its bed-and-breakfast (barracks) is an ideal place to stay (especially for a newbie) with free breakfast where one interacts with a bunch of expert guys, and free use of the sauna where one can pass an afternoon.  For hot sauna action like orgies,  the best place is Sauna Mania on nude nights, R3 on special events,  and other places are good too. For venturous people, some local saunas like DjaVu, Cruising  are also interesting.

Just use google maps. it's quite useful. especially with street view, you can explore the area and see where is the place and the landmark should you plan on making your way around.

For the places, check utopia or other sites where information is all available there. locations and maps.

Hi..we going Bangkok next month. Staying at Amari water gate hotel. Anyone have stayed there before or knows of gay places near this hotel for us to visit please advised. Thanks.

Go to travelgayasia.com and look up their "gay map" for Bangkok.  Locate your hotel on the map,  and you will see which places are close.

But, since you take the trouble to make the trip,  take the trouble to seriously investigate the gay scene instead of relying on word-of-mouth.

Anybody know any gay waxing shop? Wanted to go there to wax my full leg. :)

yes, UP2 Hairsalon. They do waxing of ALL body parts. I've done a crotch wax (crotch and balls, by far not as painful as it sounds) there a few times, very good and inexpensive service (crotch 400B).

2nd Floor of Charn Issara Tower, which is on Rama IV Road very close to Surawong.

Was in. Bkk over the weekends. I arrived on sat night, my fren was in R3, and msg me that it was packed with hot action and the orgy party starting at ten pm. But I decided to go to Sauna Mania as it was much nearer to my hotel. The place was quite packed though less so than previous times I visited before R3 was open. Mainly 20 to 40s, many fit muscled guys. I had fun with two thai.

Sunday afternoon visited Yunomori, easiest to take BTS to Phrom Phong station where Emporium is and take a taxi in. Place packed with straight and gays. Some with children. The oil massage rooms fully booked till 7pm. So took the thai massage instead. The sauna, steam and wash areas are spacious, clean and comfy. Not that many eye candies as expected. Spent 2hrs waiting for my massage room to be available. Lucky I was with a fren to spend time with and chat. The thai massage was very good and well worth the cost, paid about 900baht for both entrance, use of sauna and 90min massage.

Went to R3 on Sunday evening, the place was dead, less than ten people. I spent less than 15 min there, changed and went over to Mania, whic was skin night and packed.

Anyone any field report with R3. This was the second time I visited on a Sunday and both times a disappointment.

went to sauna mania on saturday... good crowd, and hot thais but then it feels abit dirty. didnt really enjoy myself.

the next day went to bablyon and was hoping to find this thai guy i met on the last two ocassion and finally, after waiting, i saw him and finally got the courage to ask for his name before i leave. he had a dinner date but at least i know his name and yeah, objective met. somehow, one of my plan was to look for him and happy to see him again.

i think bablyon is quite nice to hang out and know the people, the visitors are more friendly, but of lower quality than sauna mania.
