I asked and the person at counter says there is no masseur named "Rut" or close to that name n with 7 years experiences.

Anyway, the masseur (Don) I had also gave me a very strong and relaxing massage. During my massage, I overheard the foreigner at the next room giving compliments to his masseur. I think most of masseurs there are well trained.

Rut as in "but", it is always a bit difficult to pronounce Thai names correctly, so maybe they just didn't understand. Definitely there is "my" Rut, had him several times and always booked him over the phone with no problems. A few times when I didn't book in advance and asked at the reception, they said not available of his day off, so couldn't get him. But never any issues with the name. Try again next time ;-) 

But glad you got a good one from Don. You are right, most masseurs there are well trained, and a poor massage there is a rare exception.
