Tried Xiao hui from HTS.

First, he doesn't look anywhere like the person in the picture. His actual fact is rounder. And of course, there wasn't defined abs like shown in the picture. But he isn't ugly.

Massage wise, his skills was average. But it's more like touch abit here and there, knock abit here and there.

Extra service, this part is the most infuriating part. I know that most of these massage shops provide extra services as extra tips for the masseurs. This PRC masseur did not state the price before we even go into the extras. It was only after we finished the whole deal, came out from the shower, then he "informed" that I have to tip him a RM$100 for the stuff that we did earlier. He said HJ is free of charge. But anything other than that will be charged at RM$100. I know that amount is not really a lot and I wouldn't have minded paying him that amount if (a) he told me about the price before we even going into the extra, (b) he looks more like the person in the picture © he is more professional in his job than to keep looking up at the clock to check the time.

This is a matter of principles. He should have stated the price before and not after everything ended. All in all, I think most PRC masseurs are just out to cheat the customers.

Of course, I did leave a negative feedback after my session. Not sure if it'll make a difference but to all the BW-ers patronizing HTS, do be wary of that PRC masseur.

You can always ask for another therapist if you think he is not the one before the session starts. As for the extra tips, you should know that there is a price to be paid and not saying that they extort and cheat. These people are here to make money and the price is between you and them. There is no fix price. You can tell them you can only afford RM10 tips or RM100 tips for them. You can tell them your requirement during the session, either you want harder or softer. Do remember that they also have families and friends too, and they are somebody's son and bf too. They are discreet like most of us here and are gentlemen enough showing their photos to everyone here and over the net. Pleasure comes with a price.

I am also not going back to HTS because of the rude manager Marcus.

I stopped the massage halfway to complain about the poor service and bad attitude of his boy but instead he side the boy and did nothing.

For Marcus's  poor management skill, he will keep losing customers.

So sad. I actually like the ambience at HTS. But I guess Marcus and Nicky have serious PR issues. Patrick was grreat with PR and to lose him was a great lost to HTS. In the end, I take pity on the HTS boys who are desperately trying to make a living.

A review on Johan avenue gym and spa located in JB.

 

It was a few weeks ago when i first visited this sauna. The location of the sauna was not strategic, especially for those patrons without their own transportation. Nonetheless, the facilities and the crowd made up for the inconvenient location. The compound of the spa spreads across 2 storeys. For those visiting the first time, you have the option of signing up for lifetime membership for RM40, and for subsequent visits, it will be a flat rate of RM10 for weekdays and RM15 for weekends. Upon entry, the staff will pass u a plastic bag for u to put in your footwear in the locker. Extra large towel is available upon request with an extra charge of RM2.

 

There first part of the sauna is the reception and pantry area where the free coffee and biscuits are. With a grandfather clock sitting at the corner, a big piece of mirror, several bar stool placed along the aisle and a LCD TV hanging from the wall, that is an area for most patron to chill out  and interact with one another.

 

Further in lies another space where the lockers are placed, there are over a hundred lockers on both sides of the room. The size of the lockers are rather small. There are also 1 functional computer for those who would like to surf the internet. At the end of the locker space, through the tinted sliding glass doors, u will enter the proper sauna area. On the ground floor, there is a moderate size jaccuzi pool. The steam room is opposite the jaccuzi. There is a small shower area with 3 shower heads right at the end of the ground floor area. A small wooden door up the steps before the shower area leads u to the small sauna, with a maximum capacity of 5 people.

 

The narrow spiral staircase writhes up the first floor and opens into a common area with 2 sets of sofa. There are several private cabins available at the first floor as well. Right at the end, there is a glass door that partition the rather well-equipped gym with the private cabin area. There are 2 dark rooms on the first floor. 

 

The crowd at johan avenue is better than the maze, with a lot more lean fit and hunky guys. For those who are multi-racial oriented, there are a handful of malays and indians as well. For some unknown reason, tuesday nite are very crowded (probably because special event used to be on tuesday nite). Nonetheless, there are also many chubs and matured patrons around.

 

The staff are rather friendly and the place is well-maintained. I would say this is by far the best sauna in JB. It was a pleasant experience (except for those few inconsiderate and ignorant customers who giggled and chat loudly among themselves). Feel free to share your experience if u have been there.

It has been a while since i last visited a massage parlour. so i have decided to drop ATM a visit since recently there seemed to be many negative comments for HTS. So thru text msg, the person in charge has recommended a thai masseur to me. Prior to that, i specifically requested someone with good massage skills. The person in charge recommended Tok to me in the end, so i happily reserved him at 5pm. With all excitement and anticipation, i arrived at ATM realising that Tok was serving another customer. He was engaged by another customer from 4.30pm to 6pm. I was rather frustrated and disappointed by what has happened. I feel that if i have made a reservation, then they should have recorded it down and priority should have been given to me. If not what is the point of making reservation??

 

Since it was christmas, i didn't wanna spoil my day and i heeded the advice of the reception staff and chose another masseur. Again, i specifically asked for someone with GOOD massage skills, and the reception stuff who is a vietnamese, recommended me another vietnamese masseur , reassuring me that his massage skills is good. For the sake of reputation of the masseur i shall not name him. 

 

So he led to me the room, (i shall not comment on the discrepancy between the album picture and the actual look of the masseur), he instructed me to take off my clothes. then he proceeded to strip down and asked me to lie facing down the bed. There was no pre-massage showering. I thought it was ok because i came from home and was rather clean. So i did not bother requesting for it.

 

The massage started with rough strokes on my lower limbs and proceeded to back massage. His strokes are alrite, but any frequent patron would be able to tell that he is not at all experienced. I thought to myself, didn't i request for someone with good massage skills? But clearly the masseur's skill was way below average. He used copious amount of massage oil and rubbed it all over my body. He kept looking at his watch and finally when he was done with my back, he popped the question if i wanted sex. I politely declined his offer. then he proceeded to massage the front, he kept massaging my hands and legs using the same old technique. He did not ask if i wanted a happy ending and simply asked if i wanted to shower. With all the grease on my back, obviously i needed a shower. then he passed me the towel and asked me to walk to the shower area.

 

He led me inside, and left me inside. 

 

And he left.

 

I was utterly disappointed at the service provided by this particular masseur. I met the vietnamese reception staff who recommended me the masseur and told him that the service was really bad. Going ATM for massage used to be something i look forward to once every one or two months. Now, with this experience, i have to think twice before going back again. BTW, the one hour massage price has gone up to RM118 and the 1.5 hours massage has increased to RM138.

 

I hope that the management of ATM can train their masseur properly before sending them to serve customers.

I feel sorry for your bad encounter at ATM. However, it is a norm to lower one's expectation before going to these kind of massage joints since it is obvious that the massuers are not there to massage but to provide something else. Imagine a proper massage parlour is charging RM50 to RM60 an hour for a very professional massage, this kind of joints charge RM118!

 

The boys at these joints are not trained in massage, they are there to provide the extra service, thus there is no need for them to get trained. Also, the turnover of these masseurs are extremely high, you can see they rotate their photos so fast that by the time you look at the pictures a second time to locate your previously favoured masseurs, the masseur that you want has gone! These masseurs are international nowadays, two weeks in KL, two weeks in JB ( for the Singapore clients ) and then fly off to Hong Kong or somewhere for other engagements. Their aim is to make the most at the shortest possible time; so how can we expect they equip themselves with good massage skill?

Agreed , most of them know that they are chosen because of their body n looks , so they dun really care much bout the massage skill . But of coz there are few who has the skills n looks too . Those mostly focus more on massage instead of providing extra services , they only provide extra to those they have interest too as they know there will customer who appreciate their skills , not just the looks or extras given.

Went to ATM, the reception was quite friendly. Most of the therapist are Vietnamese, and you can find them working at multiple places like 2069 for eg. Chose Ben, not bad looking, his hair turned me on. Massage skills not bad, can converse in English but limited.
