JB - Palacio Gym sauna review

 

Visit on Fri, 15/08/24, arrived around 6pm. Entrance for non-members is 40RM, when you buy membership, it will be RM 12-22 next visit (weekends more expensive). You get a big towel and a small towel, locker look a bit dirty, for shoes there are two plastic bags. Locker area has free wifi (but speed very low, can't open pics on apps). Shower and toilet on ground floor. On ground floor got a big pool, steam room and Finnish sauna. The shower area is small and feet will stand in water, need to put towel in front. For 2^nd floor you need to take a steel fire stair old type. There is a gym, maybe 1 or 2 pax using it. The rest is maze area. Be aware the main maze room is extremely dark, yes really really dark. Need much time to adapt to darkness.

 

In the back of corridor got 2 bed rooms. The bedrooms also pitch dark no lights, just a bit light from outside street lamp. (Bring small torch light). Watch out before going the small corridor inside to the bed area coz got elevation on the floor. I bump my toes nearly every time. It is dangerous.

 

Guys were arriving still up to 9pm but crowd gets much less after 8pm. Range was mid 20s to 40s, but 30% above 55. Looks: most in good shape a few could use the gym more regular. More the regular guys, maybe 3 half way eye candy. Chinese guy in majority, some Indian some Malay. Over the time I counted about 40/45 guys in total but not at same time, maybe 15 to 20 at one time. Most guy cover their privates with small towel. 

 

While staff is friendly and accommodating, would not call the place dirty but the darkness at maze area is too much. Bedrooms should have some dim light. like now it is annoying dark. I guess if very horny need to compromise on the quality of guys. It doesn’t have a real place to rest, drinks available at the entrance.

 

I did not use steam room but had guys going in and out. Found the temperature a bit hot for steam room. Shower area could be made nicer.

You can have fun if find a suitable guy, if pilih pilih better not go, coz might go home without fun. Might have a better mix during Mon or Tue, when working guys want to release. Wed it is closed. As usual for Malaysia bring your own condoms and lubes. Towels were clean and smell ok.

 

In Malaysia visiting time is more after 5pm instead of late night as locals prefer going visit direct after work/ dinner.

 

Would give it a 3.5/10.

Did the sauna reek of cigarette smoke? I went once on year 2022 or 23, it was rlly bad, the smoke choked me even I reached home. 
 

What do you think the cleanliness of the towel, as well as the whole place? 
 

Would you recommend ppl to visit? Because what I have known is that the owner prohibited everyone smoked at the ground floor. 
 

There is only one themed night on Sat, out of 7 days right?

go to htspa. most vietnam and local malaysian have fair skin
