guys, what do you do if your wife is a religious person but you are not sharing the same religion or is a free-thinker and dun wanna get involved with her religious stuff? facing some issues here with my gf and it's been getting on my nerves...

I think is depends on how deep your feeling toward your religion.

For me , I will not date a girl with different religion

I may sound bit shallow but I had seen many couple suffering due to this

It is actually quite natural for your gf to want you to be involved. I believe it is their tendency to do it cos they would feel more complete in a way or they feel that a man with a religion belief are more stable and mature.

As mentioned before, communication is key. Do talk to her that you love her for who she is but on the religion... it will take time (if you are a free-thinker) to accept it so she shouldn't rush/push u into it. But if you have your own religion, then talk to her to respect your religion as you would respect hers.

Now, the next thing that in the talk is about your kid(s) in the future... who should they follow?... it can be tricky as I have seen couples in lots of difficulties and suffering now because of this. Wife wanna put the child in a Christian/Catholic school but husband disagree saying that the child should have the freedom to choose and not to be inculcated when young.

This can be a potential area of conflict for you. Better sort it out 1st...

Hope this helps.

yup. I'm a free thinker. it's been many many yrs and I always tell her the same thing -- "don't get me involve in your religion" but everytime she will still ask me go with her and I'm finding it annoying.

I can send her to her location but I'm not doing the rituals... don't see the reason and I feel that it's kinda disrespectful for someone not feeling the faith to be faking the belief. which is y I refuse to do it after so many yrs...

haiz~~~

Thanks for the invite specs,

My thoughts are simple lah, I agree with the one of the initial post where I check out girls all the time, but have always been intrigued with guy on guy action haha.

I probably won't have a connection with a guy as I do with my wife but its more like a brotherly type relation or least thats the way I feel

What about you chaps?

Hi guys... sorry being MIA for a while due to work... looking at the posts in here am happy to know the married men are slowly gathering in here.... :)

Heinz63, there was a gathering and there is going to be one...actually is tonight... if u wanna join us, do PM me. It will be somewhere around/near chinatown area.

Just to add to the discussion of the thread here... hypothetically speaking... what do you think u would do, if ever one day you found your wife cheated on you by having an affair with another guy. Would you forgive her and accept her? or would you insist to divorce her and free yourself to really be who you are... i.e. being a gay?
