I usually size up for my singlets but notice that it is not uncommon for others to size down. Although size down is more figure hugging and the wearer fills out the singlet better, isn't it quite uncomfortable?

Me too, i find it hard to breathe if buy exact size or 1 size down

I definitely prefer oversized singlet for my runs too! Plus its easier to take off halfway once I work up a sweat

I size down because I never be able to bulk up. Until 9 months ago. Now when i take tee shirts, I also have to wear M (Used to be an S with much rrom. And yes, now in gym, my size S singlets are a little uncomfortable - have to readjust after each set.
