I am from Malaysia. I just went to New Diamond on Saturday night (16th Dec). Heard so much things bout it so i decided to have a visit and hopefully some action. I guess i arrived kinda late at almost 10pm... not much ppl are there - bout 5 or 6 i think. Well, i gotta say the crowd is kinda mixed and i guess it is chubs friendly. Fort one, I am kinda chubbish as well!

Well, since I have not been any gay health centre before, I have to admit I am kinda disappointed. It's kinda run down. But the towels are ok. There were some actions happening in one of the private room as i heard some pleasure moans coming from it! Alas, my visit ended as a visit.... nothing happened... sigh.... hope i'll have some action the next time i'm there!

The other guy is not toned, darker and slightly bigger in size than xiao zhao. He did not ask for etras though and I think his massage is stronger.

Yes it's to remove dead skin. Usually done with a towel or a rough sponge using soap and water. It's good for us who can't reach certain areas of our body like our back. You should feel very clean after that.

Hi Diamond Goers! Well, some information to all...We were at diamond 2weeks ago after a long 'break'...nothing have changed except new faces.

First & foremost, Ah Yap will never go back to diamond & work coz of misunderstanding with 2 staff, (J) & (S)...regulars should know who are they im talking about.

We were told by some customers & messeurs (whom already left diamond):

New & Old messeurs have to do rub back as most customers prefer that than massage. They were 'forced' to do rub back, that is not what they are good at. As long as they want to stay & work in diamond, they have to follow instructions given by the managment. SUCKS! :swear: They have no training background(rub back) at all & some customers even asked them to bring this matter up to the management, no one dares! IS THIS HOW 'NEW DIAMOND' OPERATES ITS SPA AS TO ATTRACT CUSTOMERS?! If the managment wants them to do massage & rub back (2 in 1), its good to send them for training(rub back) rather than just pointing fingers at messeurs (sitting one corner & chatting)to do rub back when there are customers. Thats really so CHEAP of the mangement! :yuk:

We were informed by our friend that 'some guys' are watching what activities they are doing in the spa. We too realised that there are 'white' car recently parked at level 5 & 6 (when we were in sultan plaza for lunch or tea). Sometimes they are in pairs or 1 'hanging' around near the escalator, especially on level 5. They have been 'watching' for about 2 1/2months. After hearing these 'rumour', my friends & i have decided not to go diamond anymore. We would not want to take the risk as we are all married men.

We hope diamond will not be raided one day.

Pls take more precaution than sorry.

Hmmm. Another rumor on so-called "raids"? Could tall_big30 update us on when was the last "raid" that was conducted on any gay establishments? So far, our government have shown much tolerance (which we should not take for granted) on gay activities. As our PM reasonably put it, if gay activists were to pressure the government on gay rights issues, the likely push-back from government would be stronger. Unless Diamond has reknowned gay activitists like those from TC, why will the goverment target on a small and humble sauna like Diamond???

If my memory is not failing me, our MP Dr Balaji, in conjunction with AFA, met up with all the gay sauna and gay pub owners, to discuss on HIV/ AIDS prevention. In the meeting, it was mentioned that the police would not "unnecessary disturb" the gay venues, unless there are illegal activities (like drugs) involved. Of course, drugs issues are strictly not tolerated in any standards, be it from the government or owners of gay venues. In this issue, the gay community fully supports and works hand-in-hand on this with our government.

Around a few months back, before TC was closed, police did stop by outside of TC to conduct random checks on customers. That was from the tip-off that there were some drug abuse by customers in the premises. There were not any publicised case of formal arrest. Other than that, the last visit from the police to all the saunas (which was 1 to 2 years) were merely routine checks, to ensure there are no illegal activities.

My views and suspicion are there could be disgruntled ex-employees/ employees or perhaps their sympathisers wanting to evoke discomfort sentiments among viewers of this forum, who are customers/ potential customers of Diamond.

Diamond has been a long-surviving sauna that still has very loyal customers (massage). Let's not spread a rumor from unknown sources that could affect the fun and enjoyment we could have at Diamond.

Hmmm...not at all, change of owner atleast 3 times (fyi) to keep diamond survive. We are all regulars there but the management are really too much! Seem like you know Diamond management. I too know all the three owners. My first visit to diamond was when its was still a mixed-crowd sauna, during the times where Diamond were advertising on the xin ming re bao and there were still a handful of lady masseure. That was probably 10 years ago.

The last time I asked, all the masseure are licensed. It would be uncalled for if I were to attempt to dissuade you from NOT visiting Diamond, due the so-called "rumor" of police raids. To be safe than sorry, you may consider to stay at home during this New Year festive season, since police are conducting "raids" everywhere, including Marina Bay, Orchard, Mount Faber, Sentosa and all the road blocks they are setting up to arrest anyone who is gay!!! Please do not spread "rumours" about any raids unless it happens. If you have any unhappiness about an establishment, please take it up with the management personally.

haha grumpybaker, I was laughing while reading your post (though not all laughs are positive though). I think its not right to label those weight challenge guy as 'hippo'. (Goodness what would they call us skinny guy- bamboo). And anyway I think a good masseur would be able to give a massage of some strength regardless they are 'hippo' or not. Have you seen those tiny thai ladies in Thailand- they can really give powerful massage whether you are meaty or not. It's all in the skill. But I have to agree with you that we all should be more generous with our tips. Just give a small tip if the whole thing is not what you expected.

Went down today to relax (since I havent been there for weeks) and check out the 'new' masseurs and I must say I am a little smittened with Xiaozhao (I guess that's his name from the earlier postings). I really like his smile (and he is always looking at you and smiling so invitingly) and I do get a positive vibe from him. I didnt use his service today cause I didnt bring enough money but will certainly book a massage service with him soon (my first ever at Diamond!). I think I know who Alex is- great bod but very aloof. Good looking though and, yes, I saw him reading him by the massage chair. Still, I think I prefer the meatier Xiaozhao. ED, not trying to squash your hopes but XZ smiles very invitingly to every potential customer, sometimes he scares me cos he's always trying touting, I find myself avoiding him at times. He's straight, so he's just being friendly for the money, even though he can be quite a nice guy. But I agree he looks good being meatier. Then again, if you talk to alex you'll find him very friendly, despite the aloof vibes he gives out. I talked to him a few times, I would have married his brains.
