Have you guys ever been forced to take off your shirt as a kid?  Till I was about 7 or 8, I would wear tees and shorts at home and pajamas to bed. When I got back home one day, I realized my mum had accidentally shrunk a bunch of my tees in the wash. I tried wearing one and it was too tight. I was 8 but I was a tall and bigger kid. Not fat but not small sized. My mum told me she will buy new shirts the next day and told me to adjust for the day. So I just wore it. At this point, my dad was home.
