Mr Jonathan Ong's diet is based on carbohydrate cycling after he learnt that his body adapted to fixed intakes of proteins, carbohydrates and fats, thus slowing down the rates of metabolism and fat-burning.

Undergraduate

 

 

Height: 1.66m

Weight: 69kg

 

The final-year chemistry undergraduate at Nanyang Technological University's (NTU) School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences made the switch from dragon boating to bodybuilding a year later than his younger brother. The brothers help each other during training by sharing tips on squeezing the correct muscles and even debating on the effectiveness of various diet programmes. The elder Mr Ong felt the pressure to do as well as his 21-year-old brother, who came in tops in the classic category of the National Bodybuilding Championship 2014. With his younger brother's encouragement and help at oiling his body backstage. Mr Ong won the tertiary under-65kg category at his first bodybuilding competitions, the Muscle and Fitness War 2015.

 

The elder Mr Ong's girlfriend is an undergraduate at NTU.

I am assuming you are referring to the one who wrote this article? She is Joan Chew, maybe you could feedback to her eh.

 

As for my "little contribution" here, I mostly only copy and paste the "BioBox" and leave out the Q&A...

You need to put his brother side by side to tell if he really look 35 in which any case nobody knows who is his brother since he did not mentioned who in the article

What are the advantages/disadvantages when one is a hunk and his brother is a hunk like in Jonathan Ong's situation?

mom dont have to cook as they prepare own food. Can share bodybuilding posing trunks. Can oil each other.

Disadvantages? Sofa must be big as got 2 big guys in family. Must sleep in king bed as single to small for their bulk. Laundry constantly as have to always change pants as may have sex often.must buy underwear often as muscled thighs gets bigger. Uniform must tailor as issued ones are too tight.

Exercise Regimen: I train five times a week with a routine that focuses on running, and supplementary exercises that include lifting weights and doing plyometric workouts. Eh, be more charitable leh? 41 called uncle already? Some more physique quite well kept what. So is the definition of uncle based on the age or appearance, cos I know of many people in their 40s blessed with good genes and good lifestyle that they look to be in their 30s. Wait, don't say 30s also uncle, otherwise I will go and drown myself.

Exercise Regimen: I hit the gym at least four times a week for about an hour each time. I try to incorporate exercises into my work life, so I run from my office in Bugis to train in my gym at Orchard. Thereafter, I run back to the office and continue my work. I also cycle about once a week.

 

Diet: I avoid oily foods and products with trans fat. I started cutting down on sugary a few months ago and my weight started to go down as well. I visited Spain once and really liked their diet of more meat and fresh seafood with less carps sugar. So that is the diet I try to follow now.

He hit the gym 4 times a week and avoid oily food and trans fats but yet he looks jelly and soft.  My conclusion is he hit the gym but not serious about working out, spending most of his time watching others and looking in the mirror.

Based on my assessment, his body is suitable for a top to use both hands to grab his chest and pinch his nipples, and screw him hard.

 

More seriously, I think as a busy archiectat who has to work till late night, and he has been taking a lot of late night dinners.  Hence, some fats at his waist.

 

But overall, he is still regarded as having a sexy bod.

So do u mind to share what causes the jelly look?

Its could be the amount of fats. Don't believe? just run a body composition analysis on the individual and the answer will tell you everything. If its water, then the body composition measurements will read high amount of water within the individual. The resistance of water content and fat content are different and thus the measurement obtained would reflect the values within.
