Isn't this an oxymoron, if the guys are straight , why would they want to get nasty with another straight guy with a hairy chest and body and hard hairy cock that cannot be inserted with penis.

i also dont think its very possible. one way i can think of is one guy does something damn touching and beautiful for the other guy like save his life or something, then maybe a small chance. another way is maybe if both got dumped and confide in each other.

everyone have different definition to love, if love to you is, a pat in the back physically, yes, two guys can pat each other in the back.

 

IF you saying in love as in having physical intimacy, straight on straight, then it depends if the (thought of/or) engaging in such activities is repulsive enough to strike off the "being in love", if having physical intimacy with another straight is so overwhelming(*not the curious type) then both are no longer straight.

 

*curious type ( then again back to, is being curious falling in love definition ), if not, then no.

The ancient Greeks use words to distinguish between the different types of love. There is "philia" for affection between family and friends, "eros" for sensual, sexual passion.

A straight guy can certainly have philia for his friend, but if it crosses into eros, then he is by definition no longer 100% straight. I believe that is possible, but some will argue that he was probably not 100% straight to begin with.

Yes it is possible. Even the biblical characters Jonathan and David were in love. 1 Samuel 18:3 "So Jonathan made a pledge of mutual loyalty with David because he loved him as much as he loved himself."

 

When I was in the army and had a very huge crush on my buddy, I used this biblical example to convince myself that my love for my buddy was the same as Jonathan's love for David... only to have my hopes flattened by my pastor who says no.

You guys need to get out of all that stereotyping or what I call wishful thinking just so you feel somehow it is connected to gayness or symtoms of gay is more common than one thinks or that all-males-are-gay-but-we-have-not-convert-all-yet dream. We do not win the gay right fight this way.

 

Good friends, best friends (I have 2 like that) etc, there are many examples. Take like war, where buddies die with buddies or sacrifice their lives for their best friend. Males who share very close bond that might take a lifetime to build, sacrifice made to seal that bond, spiritual bond, passion for a hobby, over cars..eg. .. some going on 20 to 30 yrs and still going on. Maybe you have not had that luck to find such a best friend or group of guys that stay so close till family members from each bond as one family for fun and crisis. So I do not blame those for never knowing.

 

Please do not cheapen something upright, above board, DECENT and noble between males and reduced it to being some gossipy gay-ish notions of suspecting sexual attraction, forbidden love, bromance, cuddly, sneaky peep at genital..etc

 

It's silly enough we have too many among us here who swimming in that gutter stream full time like a job. Let's not cause more of this stereotypical tension. It makes us all look shallow and living-in-a-bubble dickheads. And you wonder why we still can't fully win over all the str8's support and acceptance of us yet. No offence.

However people are conditioned to act and think in a certain way based on the societal values they've been taught.

 

So in today's world, perhaps not.
