radialhead
I'm doing a couple of runs in the coming months - ST Run, Puma Night Race and StanChan. My usual route is around Semb and I'm a night runner. My usual routes:- Semb-Marsiling (using MRT route)- Semb-Khatib (doing the whole stretch of Yishun Ring Road)- Semb-Semb Park-Simpang PCN- Semb-Woodlands (thru Woodlands Ave 12 then SG Sports Sch) I'm a slow starter and I tend to rest after a bit but I'm a long-haul runner. On my birthday, I challenged myself and completed a run from Semb to MacRitchie by Upp Thomson. I'm looking for partners to train for Commando Challenge. Anyone up to it? thorzguy
Running group can be motivating. It can be, (in my opinion) a loner sport too. Because I usually run alone (ok, with my iPod). Lol. Reason being, my working timing can be eccentric, thus either I do early morning (still coping with that) or late night run. As I stay in the east, It can be ECP, bedok reservoir or just around my estate.

TheVisitors
Sounds interesting I run 6km x 3 a week plus a moderate speed at 10km once a week as well. Would like to go extra miles but I got flat foot Sick and tired of my gym running buddy who keeps cancelling our appointments the last 2 months due to some emotional love life problem And he just did it again I usually run at night Edited September 10, 2014 by TheVisitors garuda
alien
Agreed, not easy to find someone who can have the similar pace, standard and stamina, although it is still possible to find one lah. Thts y running usually is a one person activity. Quote 对自己好是一种幸福, 对别人好是一种积福。 Spend time counting your blessings, not airing your complaints. Guest
Lol...training can be alone or in group...all up to individual availability n location...do remember that is Singapore is a small island well connected by mrt/bus. With circle/downtown line, save up to 15-30mins of time. Within singapore distance measure up to juz 30km.

I'm sure there must be shower & locker facilities at the Sports Hub.
