i personally feel these two people because of their "bad energy" may not be good for me in my life...

A few years ago, this person had been enjoying quite a fair bit of popularity and success in romance  and career. Not only was he young and toned, he was  also a sportsman and a high level executive.  After a string of events and revelations, it seems  either he passed his bad luck to those who drew close to him or he absorbed  their postive energy and turned it to his advantage.  

 

All the ex bfs careers, some who were also doing well in their industry, started spiraling down after they met him and by the time the relationship was over, they became nobody. He of course kept changing bfs. Meanwhile he was also going from one high to another, drawing all the good luck away from the numerous female and male fans at the gym. One constant female companion who used to drive a luxury car herself  and was the chauffeur when he did not want to drive was spotted taking publlc transport recently, shorn of all the material luxuries she used to have. Many of the looks of these women also wilted fast. A male banker who was crazy over and often stalked him in the changing room also became the office joke and is now basically stagnant at this workplace, neither moving up or able nor being headhunted by other private banking.

 

As more people withdrew their support, some more alert to the downfall and decline of those that got close to him, and  he not having anymore good luck to channel to himself is now being haunted daily by a nitwit with so much yin energy that she made him age a lot with a lot of health issues and a start up business that is basically maintained as a shop front by the mentor partner whose fortunes have also vastly declined.

But no one said anything about leaving other people's lives ruined or health ruined or careers destroyed , or health decreased for the other person after the attraction of external wealth comes to the person who wished for it, hmmm .. the Law of attraction applied is wealth, health , career multiplied, but simple laws will tell you if you gained someone else must have lost something for you to have gained.

 

Actually , i was gonna asked that the TS title should also asked the question " Am I attracting people with bad karmic energy into my life " rather than "

I used to think my bf is very unlucky for me but now after helping him through some of his personal problems.

I guess it is just a matter of perspective.

He had been through a lot of bad stuff. Including being disowned by his family.

 

And there are times that he is really unlucky,that affected my luck too.

For people who bring me bad luck, I always try to get to know them better.

Listen to what they say,help them if I can.And If i cannot help them I will listen to their problem in person unless they are trolling me by being toxic on purpose.

Wow , I like your take on meeting people who are considered bad luck, i think the same way as you, but I apply it to uncles in gay saunas like Hercules, tenmen, and shogun.

 

Like you say its a matter of perspective.

 

The uncles are very happy they get to bed someone like me, educated, polite, always smiling , even decline wrong suitors politely, I am hairy, bu t not like gorilla or orangutan hairy ,  masculine , and quite handsome, and some younger men in saunas tell me older, CMI uncles are bad luck for me, for my career, bad for my reputation , bad for my financial health becos the old uncles are like Gollums sucking away all my vital energy, life force and hence eventually my youth and health.

 

This is furthest from the truth, in fact, i made some old uncles happy, i hope they remember and tresure our 30 mins of encounter for the rest of their lives.

You can see the undesirable situations happen in your life as lessons you need to go through for personal growth! Instead of seeing them as something out of your control ie bad luck brought to you by other people. Don't see yourself as the victim. Instead of wasting your energy trying to figure what causes you problem, why not spend your energy figure out solutions.

When the same things keep repeating in your life, they won't go away until you are wise enough to transcend the problem.

That is how you build your self confidence and gain a sense of security.

There is no one answer to all however to put the entire blame on H is not fair as i did mentioned there were some screw ups at the start.. 

Now i do not think of H any more. Neither do i hold resentment towards H. Not sure who is to be blamed for that day.

I did mentioned the client ( Let's call him D ) i was suppose to meet on thurs at 3pm last minute cancelled his meeting with me due to some work issues.

D confirmed the meeting at 7.30am. At 9am, H sms wanting to meet i ignored H as i was to meet D. I don't want to have anything to do with H. 

The funny thing is that at 9.30am D cancelled the appointment with me. Such coincidence the moment H sms me D cancelled my appointment.

 

Two things to ponder over:

- Maybe there is nothing wrong with T, i was being over sensitive and superstitious

- Karmic energy wise maybe H's karmic energy is so bad the moment he sms me D cancelled my appointment.

 

Since i thought i had nothing to do might as well meet H. I do not know was it a wrong move or superstition on my part..

There is no definite answer nothing is confirmed so i created this thread asking for opinions..

善事固然要做 ， 但修心修口更重要。一边行善，但心胸狭窄存有妒忌贪念等，内心恶火依旧燃烧。

口中不道好话，搬弄是非，说人长短，恶言对人，尽说些没根据的话语，讽刺讥笑别人，

答应别人的事没能兑现等，这样，就算运暂且能改，也是前世修来的福，纵然如此，也有耗尽的一天。

一个人若是纯净，菩萨神仙都会保佑，人们也会喜欢与他交友。倘若以为自己没犯恶业者，身口意不断

涌出恶果，厄运自然随身，因果一旦成熟，后悔已晚。因此，做善事是好，可只是形式上的福田，

自身的修正才能真正改变一切。

障碍，我们修行的障碍，一般说是“愿消三障诸烦恼”。三障是惑障、业障和报障。

 

　　惑障，又包括烦恼障和所知障。

 

　　烦恼障是事障，逢缘对境的时候才生起贪、瞋、痴、傲慢和怀疑，它是中断的，没有逢缘对境，一般是不会很强烈地生起，所以要断掉它比较容易。

 

　　所知障是理障，所知障的身见、边见、邪见、见取见、戒禁取见，这些见地上的错误认识是理障，它是恒时生起的，时时刻刻都在那里生起，所以是比较执著，断除比较难的。

       这是惑障。

 

　　业障，业是指行为习惯。如果染有一些不良的嗜好，比方说你喜欢打麻将，虽然你想修行，但是人家一叫你打麻将，你就跑去了。所以想修行，想做善事，欲作不能，成为障碍，习气的障碍，行为习惯的障碍。

 

　　报障，报就是苦报。因为迷惑，所以造恶业；因为造恶业，所以招感苦果；招感苦果以后就招感到种种不如意的正报和依报，使我们不得自在，不能解脱，所以称为报障。比方说我们想修行，但是我们因为宿世的业障，现在招感的苦报，产生的报障：比方说盲聋喑哑，那也是很难修行的；那我们生活条件很差，要为生计奔波，那也是很难闻法的。所以这个就属于报障。

 

　　解脱道上有很多的障碍：

 

　　有一些是因为身体多病，这个是报障；有一些是因为福报不够，受生活的逼迫，要忙于谋生计，无暇学佛，这个也是属于报障，依报上的障碍；有一些是因为身体的盲聋喑哑，这是正报上的障碍；有一些是因为不遇明师，为恶友所包围，恶友牵缠，也是属于人事环境不好，也是属于依报上的障碍；或者因为烦恼炽盛，容易生起贪、瞋、痴三毒，这个是属于惑障，惑障里面的烦恼障；或者是因为执著于邪见，自以为是，这个是惑障里面的所知障；或者是因为有不良的习气，这个是业障。

 

　　这些种种的障碍使我们在六道里面轮回受苦，难以超出。

I am still not doing well... Things did not go so smoothly since my last meet with H and after he started smsing me..

However can money play a part in transmitting bad karmic energy?

No i am not doing anything illegal.. just that from my last business before my current one..

i had some money in one of my prepaid cards... i thought why waste the money?

so i transferred the money from one of my previous cards into the current one.

Could it be the reason why is my business not doing so well..

As my last business was not doing so well could bad energy from the money in my previous prepaid card be transferred to my current one?

But i had to say it was ok from the start after contacting H not so well..

 

I did have a thought before starting this new current business

- Start the business whole anew, don't bring anything old from the past... transferring money from the old line into the new line is one of them.

- Leave out toxic people like H and T. Cut them out don't contact them. 

 

Somehow i dismissed it due to superstition or over thinking of my mind..

 

If this is the case because of why am i not doing well now.. i would seriously want to punch myself in the face and stomach.. 

I knew what was going to happen and i thought of it why did i not put my ideas into action?

Because of my cheapo and kiamsiap ways plus me not being decisive enough i am paying for it..

 

Could someone shed some light on this?

i did not have any bad gut feel.. Normally if i have a feel something is bad and i went ahead things did not turn out so good. However i have no bad feel over these two matters this is why i went ahead.. 

What do i do now?

The fateful day i met H was last Thursday 11/9/2014 timing around 3 to 3.05pm. The weather was cooling and slightly cloudy as it had rained before that..It fact the weather on thursday was a cold one as the whole day was raining up to evening too. 

 

Does not sound so good does it? September 11 is when the twin tower crashed.. similarly this main business line ( which i had transferred the money from my ex previous card ) i am using has numbers with 911 also..

however the number i contacted H with is not my main business line..

 

If all is because of this i bloody hell will kick myself already...

i am partly a vegetarian, i dun drink smoke and club.. .. i spent my time reading and listening to music..

i dun use vulgar language, i do not look down or others neither do i gossip. i am a rather quiet and shy person.. 

i try to avoid using negative words..  i donate pet food to spca.. i try to be honest about things upfront..

i am 26 yo this year.. 

 

But rather it was people who have hurt me.. cheat me.. things i do not wish to go into here..

this thread not to pour out all the woes of my life but rather how did things turn out to be like that?

I am not blaming anyone

just referring to events

but isn't it abit too coincidental..

my prepaid number turned out to be a sabotaged number i had no clue at first..

numbers in there 91XX1XXX

day i met with H is 9/11/2014, he smsed me at 9am.. the twin towers crashed at 9.03am...

9/11 was when the twin towers crashed in 2001..

starting 15/9/2014 which was two weeks after my business started up. i was not doing very well.. lots of screw ups... real bad 

 

back to the forum where i found my number was being sabotaged..

i started my business on the 29/8/2014..

on the forum where i found my number was being sabotaged was 31/8/2010 and the guy who posted out the number happened to be someone i was in conflict with..

the number was posted before i even started my business... 

isn't it such a coincident? NO i am not blaming but it seems weird..

My numbers has 5 and 4 in there too.. it is a very pretty number to be honest..

《楞严咒》是《楞严经》所依据的重要咒语，有“咒王”的尊称。亦称《楞严神咒》，长名“Namas Tathagatoushnisha Sita-aa-tapatram Aparaajitam Praty-angiram Dhaaranii”（大约意思是：归名、如来最上顶髻、体遍法界、巨大、白净无染、犹如用伞盖住万德，无有能胜过的，恶魔调伏对治，咒法，陀罗尼）。

宣化上人指楞严咒不单只是能治病驱魔的天地灵文，而且根据＜法尽灭经＞中预言：“首楞严经先灭”，指因为天魔要先消灭楞严咒才能让邪魔鬼怪出兴于世间，所以楞严经咒要是大乘佛教第一本受天魔毁坏的经书。因此楞严咒的存在关系整个佛教和世界的兴衰，只要楞严咒仍然存在，世间仍然会有正法受保护，魔鬼仍然不能公然出兴世间。有梵文研究发现楞严咒包括了密宗无上瑜珈部(父续部)密集金刚大法里所有三十二部的佛众圣众和神鬼众，亦有研究指楞严经的内容完全吻合古代中印度那烂陀寺当时的思想，因此楞严咒可谓隐藏在禅宗和显宗里面清净源头的无上瑜珈密，可见地位非凡。

历代以来一直有高僧大德因为持楞严咒而有所成就，其中包括五祖弘忍和济公和尚。

与《大白伞盖佛母咒》有说相同[1]，有说不同[2]。

楞严咒是中国大乘佛教中地位祟高的咒语，不但经藏中有记述，郭堭石经，甚至连清朝乾隆皇坟地宫也要刻上有关的经咒。 至今，楞严咒除了是中国大乘僧尼早课的常见咒话，民间也有七天念楞严咒的“打惮七”回向自己和祖先。而且楞严咒也在现今社会被印为护身符和佛卡上广流大众，以及成为经常被翻写成为梵文字样作为免费流通的咒语之一。除了亚洲外，美国也有诵持楞严咒的白人。早在宣化上人的年代，已经有不少当地人可以背诵楞严长咒，今天有更多美国和外国庙宇有楞严咒的修持甚至研究。

 

缘起

楞严咒的由来是有一次释迦牟尼佛离席返回祇树给孤独园，其弟子阿难因只身赴远方檀越应供，未及返回赶上波斯匿王供佛营斋，在舍卫城内独自逐门乞食。经过淫户遇到摩登伽女，为摩登伽女所喜欢。摩登伽女要求母亲用外道的“娑毗迦罗先梵天咒”迷幻摄令阿难进入淫席。阿难自知将毁戒体，一心念佛。 䆁迦牟尼佛为了解救弟子阿难尊者免除摩登伽母女所施的外道巫术，于是进入楞严惮定（楞严是梵文“究竟坚固”）由顶髻显出坐千叶金莲的化佛，再在无数执金刚神的拥护之下，用化佛的顶髻再放出遍照十方的百宝光明所说的神咒。文殊菩萨根据释伽牟尼佛的指引持楞严咒驱邪破魔后，阿难尊者免去邪术的迷惑，得以保存戒体返回佛祖身边。阿难及摩登伽女同归佛所。阿难惭愧启请佛修定力之法而促成楞严会，日后结集为《楞严经》，卷七中并载楞严咒。(梵音楞严咒，罗马拼音版。梵文楞严咒)

邪惑的妖魔鬼怪（包括天魔波旬，吸食人精血十二鬼，扰恼童子十五鬼、二十八恶星，乃至八万四千魔鬼）、乃至极尊贵的神明（包括天龙八部，大梵天大神，湿婆大神，象头大神，佛先奴大神等）所造的一切影响和法术皆可以用楞严咒去除破灭。因此楞严经在古印度有国宝的地位，严禁外传。后来般敕密谛立志多番尝试，用很细簿的白绢书写楞严经，再刺割自己的肩膊，偷藏绢经入伤口等待痊愈后，才瞒过守边界的地方官吏把楞严咒带入汉地，由房融翻译绢经，流通至今。

楞严咒的功用

楞严咒具足五方佛的佛力，即是，东方是阿閦佛,南方是宝生佛,中央是毗卢遮那佛,西方是阿弥陀佛和北方是成就佛， 所以能够以五部的圆满，即是金刚部，宝生部，佛部，莲华部和羯磨部， 去一次过作出此五大功用：

1•＜息灾法＞，你一诵这〈楞严咒〉，一切的灾难都没有了。

2•＜降伏法＞，无论对方是什么天魔外道，你一诵〈楞严咒〉，就能把魔的法力都给破了，把他降伏了。

3•＜增益法＞，譬如你修道，能增益你的智慧，增益你的菩提心，增益你的愿力；一切一切都会增加，这叫增益法。

4•＜成就法＞，一诵这〈楞严咒〉，你无论修什么法门都会成就的，这是一种。

5•＜勾召法＞，这勾召法就是遇着天魔外道，你想要把他抓来的时候用。举个例子，就像世间的警察，把那犯罪的人抓来了；勾召法也就是无论是天魔也好，外道也好，你想要 把他抓来，这一切的护法善神、天龙八部、八万四千金刚藏菩萨，即刻就能把他抓来，这是勾召法。

另外，楞严咒也可以成功地治病，净罪，驱邪，破坏外道巫术，结界保护和增寿，归纳起来有不少于三十种法。

例如有位上人说：“如果天天单持咒心二十一次，能保证增寿二十一年”

根据经文，功用包括： (1)持咒的众生，纵其自身不作福业，十方如来所有功德，悉与此人。 (2)不持此咒而坐道场，令其身心远诸魔事，无有是处。 (3)是故如来宣示楞严咒，于未来世，保护初学诸修行者。 (4)有此咒地，十二由旬(960里)成结界地，诸恶灾祥永不能入。 (5)十方如来传此咒心，于灭度后付佛法事，究竟住持，严净戒律，悉得清净。 (6)金刚藏菩萨︰“世尊，如是修心求正定人，若在道场及余经行，乃至散心游戏聚落，我等徒众，常当随从侍卫此人。纵令魔王大自在天，求其方便，终不可得！诸小鬼神，去此善人十由旬外，除彼发心乐修禅者。” (7)金刚藏菩萨︰“世尊，如是恶魔若魔眷属，欲来侵扰是善人者，我以宝杵殒碎其首，犹如微尘，恒令此人，所作如愿。” (8)配戴楞严咒，能得无量百千金刚、梵王、天帝释、四天大王、无量药叉大将、诸罗刹王、富单那王、鸠盘茶王、毗舍遮王、频那夜迦、诸大鬼王、诸鬼帅、无量日月天子、风师、雨师、云师、雷师、电伯、年岁巡官、诸星眷属、无量山神、海神、一切土地、水陆空行、万物精祇、风神王、无色界天的拥护。

持咒功夫深时的灵验

济公和尚据说修行楞严咒前头十九句而得神通济世。因此，楞严咒历代有被诗句赞宏：

三光普照透三才 阎浮世界你不来 大德大善能于得 无德无善不明白

千朵红莲护住身 坐驹骑着墨麒麟 万妖一见往远躲 济公法师有妙音

奥妙无穷实难猜 金刚密语本性来 楞严咒里有灵妙 五眼六通道凡开

在过去五祖弘忍大师在湖北东山修行，戒行精严，修行特别认真，并勤修楞严咒。 有一次土匪把这个城围上，弘忍大师忍不住了，就想要救这个城里头的老百姓，于是他持咒下山。他从东山走到湖北城里，土匪一见弘忍大师有太多天兵天将，像天上下来的天神一样，都穿着金盔金甲，手里拿着宝剑威武奇扬来，就吓得丢盔卸甲望影而逃了。不用一刀、一枪、一箭，弘忍大师就用平日持咒的功夫把土匪撤退了。

宣化上人曾经苦修楞严咒和大悲咒助大众解决困难，而且説楞严咒为他很多的东北徒弟治病很多效果。在美国时甚至有一位同性恋男子诚心忏悔诵大悲咒后竟然造梦见到宣化上人把他治病，醒来后他的爱滋病果然不药而医治好。宣化上人说这些都是楞严咒和大悲咒的力量，所以大家认真修持会福报很大。 宣化上人曾经有一位年轻徒儿有元神出身的能力，乃因为贪玩而出神，其元神多次飞到跟一个天上的美丽而古怪的城堡玩耍。后来堡主见徒儿可爱，便欲留住徒儿，便关上城堡的门不许元神外出返回人身，使幼徒儿无法返神入身。宣化上人见徒儿不醒，于见立刻念咒，天堡因此破裂，元神得以逃脱，安全返回肉身。由于楞严咒不但能增加福慧，而且可以驱破魔事和破坏一切毒咒巫术，因此宣化上人叮嘱一切佛教徒应该认识和学习楞严经和背熟楞严咒。

亦有单持咒心的军人一次遇上道士，道士一看他惊讶问他持什么咒语，因为道士的灵通感应知道军人已经不知不觉间成为无法用巫术蛊害的人。

根据净空大法师讲述，有一位中医的徒弟，在店铺中有空便把楞严经拿出来读。十年后有一天忽觉睡意，睡了后造梦见一冤鬼，跪乞求他让祂升天。徙弟虽然不明白，但慈悲答应了，鬼于是立刻爬到徒儿的肩头上便不见了。后来徒弟又造梦，看到有多只鬼跪乞同样的事情，徙弟也答应后，鬼都爬上他身上后升天了。所以楞严经中记写持楞严咒得定的人能够十方净土，随愿往生，可见真有其事。

Therefore even the luckiest person will have occasional "bad luck." On the other hand, it is unlikely that a person who is normally lucky will become truly unlucky. The bad times will be limited and rare. Why? It is because those who are lucky are habitually thinking in a particular way and doing things in a particular way. Others have their own ways of thinking and operating as well, and those habits are part of what causes bad luck. Let's take a look at one of them. Blaming Causes Bad Luck Blaming and making excuses are ways to avoid taking responsibility for one's own life. It is a common trait among unlucky people. However, if you suggest that there is no value to blaming, and that it may even cause more bad luck, the blamer is likely to get very irritated. "But it really was his fault," he might insist. It really might be someone's fault, right? Other people really can contribute to a person's bad luck or bad situation. Why then, can blaming be a bad habit that brings more bad situations? It is because a focus on the outside factors that "cause" your problems takes your power away. You essentially concede defeat when you repeatedly blame other people or circumstances for your problems, and conceding defeat isn't very productive, is it? Many unlucky people can point out every person and circumstance that is to blame for their bad luck, but they cannot see what their own contribution to their situation is. But are these the causes of his failure? If he quits at this point, it will seem like it to him, and he'll think he is unlucky. On the other hand, if he learns his lessons and takes responsibility for making the business work, he'll almost certainly succeed in time and see these as mere bumps in the road to success. Then he will be seen as "lucky," and he will be, but because he stopped focusing on blaming. He could find a partner who is more committed, or do it himself. He could borrow on credit cards to buy what he needs, or lease the equipment. But the habit of concentrating on who or what is to blame doesn't motivate a person to do what is necessary. Just the opposite! It is a big part of what causes bad luck, because it gets in the way of the three steps needed for success: 1. Learn your lessons. 2. Take responsibility. 3. Take action. Constant blaming and anything else that gets in the way of these three steps is a part of what causes bad luck.

If you think the situation is caused by other ppl bringing you bad luck, due to supernatural effects, it makes you powerless to solve your problem proactively. It is like 守株待兔 if u understand mandarin.
