Guest victor
I believe it costs more in Malaysia. Any issues with customs at both sides if I bring in 1kg?

Cube3
Are you very sure it is pork meat? Yes, bought this at a bak kwa shop along Silom Road further along than Chong Nonsi station. Walk past the Indian temple a few more shops. According to packaging, the shop's name is as below: http://www.nguemengheang.com/index.html Info is in Thai though, but at website can see pics of pork bak kwa! (logo is of a pig bowling ball into pins!)

sphere
Was at Lim Chee Guan (People's Park Complex branch) earlier and saw a rather cute, young guy (this is subjective, personal opinion eh) distributing their own handheld cardboard fan before opening the store, then he was at the store doing all the weighing when it opened. He looks a little bit like Richie Ren. Quote Happy - is what we should be, always. What is the reason? We're not allowed to bring in any meat products actually. If travelling by JB, I've gotten away with bringing back lunch (packed rice with some meat) but stuff like roast chicken, bak kwa etc are definitely no go. Sg's strict food regulations. The pineapple bak kwa is the BEST. If can't get hold of it, the Royal bak kwa (full meat pieces) are succulent too. Their bak kwa beats all other over rated brands.
