I am here to share my story.

 

Many years ago I moved to USA for work.  When I first got there, I chatted with a few guys online but was worried about all that is going on out there like many of the guys mentioned in this thread.  Anyway, I chatted with a guy for a while and he was telling me how he had recently encountered some work and family problems.  So he asked if he could bunk at my place for 1 night, which I agreed.  Eventually we ended up in bed and I sucked him off (No anal).  After that night, we kind of lost contact.

I tried contacting the guy, but he disappeared altogether.  Well, almost towards the end of my work stint in the US, the guy contacted me and said that he was sorry.  He said that he had contracted HIV and Syphilis just prior to meeting me. He knew about it and didn't know how to deal with it as he was emotionally distraught and financially, it had become unmanageable for him as he lost his job etc.

 

To be honest, I hated him for what he did to me back then and I hated myself for allowing it to happen.  I thought I was smart enough to only have oral sex and nothing more.  To a certain extent, I was lucky as I didn't catch HIV and only Syphilis, but it was an extremely stressful ordeal which I didn't have to go through if i thought with my head.

 

Now it has been many years since, and he contacted me once after.  Though i was angry, I guess i could understand what it was like to be in his situation.  I donated $100 as he was running a marathon for AIDS foundation.

 

I am no saint, and I wish I am not the devil.  But in this society and circle, it is inevitable to get caught up in the heat of the moment.  Will i have sex again with others?  Of course I will, but be careful and really get to know the person well before you jump into it.  Try to limit the number of guys you hump with as it increases the risk.  Always use protection and don't take the other guy's word that he is clean.

 

How many of us actually tell others that you are clean even though you may not know your status?  If you can do it to others, so can others do it to you.
