They r here, no matter which month. 7th month was set aside by our forefathers to remember the dead, to give offerings. The tradition has been carried on till now. As to why there seems to be more ghostly occurrences during the 7th month, imo, We r more conscious abt ghosts during the 7th month. The scaries encounter i had was once it was late at night and i was sleeping in those sofa bed with wheels at bottom 4 corners. Then suddenly, the bed started to move like i was in a ship rocking side by side. I then feel like something is not right and i wasn't able to move my body. So i pluck up my courage and slightly open my eyes and at that moment, i saw i lady in white with long hair and red eyes on top of me. I then close my eyes and told her that please go away as i needs to work and i did not disturb you, so please just leave. Another thing i am not sure is when i go to a wake that i don't know the person, i will feel cold and those hair raising sensation, however if i know the person like for eg. my grandma and my first aunt's wake, during the last night of the wake while saying the prayer together with other family members, my body will start to feel like i am burning. There is one time when in malaysia, my family was going to some kelong to have seafood. We need to drive past a forested area to get to the location. As my aunt knows that i can somehow see these things, she asked me to shut my eyes. But that turns out to be useless as i can still know that there are beings in the forest and the color is green. People who see them usually have very low spirit, or unbalance in mind and body. That is why it only happened when you are half asleep or half awake. The mind woke up but the body still sleeping. So, whatever you see when you tried to force open your eyes could be a delusion formed by the thought in your mind. Perhaps, that was the moment you enter into a different dimension.
