Everyone thought ghost are like human shape, long hair, ferocious teeth and ghoul face often wearing white  which is not true.  Those are only found in movie scene.  The real ghost are often seen in a form of orb, floating, darting or sometime moving slowly you thought you eyes caught with wool.  You need to be focus to spot them, otherwise most people will overlook such faint looking floating object.  It is more vivid in dark places, not in bright area though they may be found in bright places too.  I think animals have the eyesight to spot them in dark or bright area.

Maybe you are experiencing floaters in your eyes. Don't worry, they are usually harmless.

I only had one or two childhood vision of scary , hairy , things that hangs upside down from the ceilings ,

 

and it happened becos my Cantinese speaking neighbours kept feeding me horror stories about looking between your legs to see ghosts,  pontianak appearing in banana trees at night, and stories about flying bodiless langsuyar heads looking for blood , at night. 

 

I rightly overcome thia as I matured and started to think rationally.

I always like to think that there is s scientific explanation to things, but yesterday something happened which i find it hard to explain. 

 

Has anyone cycled, and all of a sudden you felt the bike becoming heavier, up to a point where it is almost impossible to cycle on a flat path? I was on a mobike, and for the first 5 minutes, everything was very smooth and easy, until it got a bit difficult over a stretch of pavement. The path was flat, and it got really difficult to peddle to the point of stopping. It was a bit embarrassing too, as there were other cyclists who passed me. I was thinking at the back of my mind that something got on, but hey, it's impossible as it's broad daylight at 6pm and I've always had protective objects with me. 

 

Anyway, I had to stop and walk the bike. Good thing that there was a traffic junction straight in front, and I waited to cross. After crossing, I decided to try cycling again. This time, it was very easy and peddling was a breeze. But again, after a while, it got heavy and difficult again. As my destination was near, I just kept going till I reached the destination. There, I parked the bike and carried on my business. From thereon, everything was uneventful.

 

The route i took was along Pasir Ris Drive 3, the path along the Api Api river and the mangrove area, but along the main road. Those familiar would know that the mangrove area wasn't very clean. I would like to think that there is something wrong with the bike... unfortunately, I was in a hurry and didn't check the bike. Or maybe there could be some other logical explanations...

You checked your brakes?  Sometimes when they come lose they may engage and cause lots of friction. because its lose, it might intermittently engages and disengages by itself.

Something strange happened to me while I was at Keybox sauna on last Fri.

 

I checked into KB at around 2am, after a nite out with colleagues and was feeling horny. It was rather quiet but still have abt 10 to 15 guys inside. I then went into the steam room. While walking around the steam room, even though its dark, I can still see silouhettes. At the furthest end of the steam room, i can see 2 guys sitting and smooching at one corner. Then on the opposite corner, I see a lone guy sitting motionless with a white towel across his thigh. 

 

As I was feeling too hot from the steam, i decided to walk towards the entrance area where the steam is less intense. After awhile, the 2 guys that were smooching walked out, prob after done with their fun. All this while, no one else entered the steam room. I can hear distinct heavy breathing sound and I then decide to walk further in to check out the lone guy sitting at the deep corner. When I reached the furthest corner, to my horror, there was No one there ! Nada, zilch, No one ! The benches inside were all empty ! I quickly hasten my steps and exit the steam room without looking back. Went to have a quick shower and left KB.

If you are worried, just go 四马路观音庙to 拜拜lor. A master once told me that wandering spirits are all over the place, only people with their 3rd eye opened will be able to see...maybe you got such talent lor. Congrats!

So you had problems biking, but... you didn't check the bike.  

How can you find it "hard to explain" if you haven't checked the bike?

And, since you posted in this thread...  you may think that it was a ghost (!!!!)

 

In my long life I had thousands of cases where things didn't work as expected.  Cars, home equipment, technical equipment,  etc. etc. etc.

Imagine if as an engineer, each time something didn't work the idea of a ghost had come to my mind?   

 

In the life of the development of the car, the airplane, the computer, the cell phone,...  every time something didn't work a ghost was behind it,

we could be looking at billions of ghosts...   or as many as grains of sand on the planet.

Can't help but to believe that our world is sometimes guided by an invisible hand. Especially lately when going to the KB, I discovered if I were to get across the road via the overhead bridge, that night would turn to be great. But if I were to use the traffic lights, it would be so so only.

Agreed on the invisible hand. Sometimes when I have naughty thoughts, i will get the hints to stop thinking negatively. Like my elbow will get knocked by the door, my head will get banged into something or i will almost got slipped down the floor. Then I will stop whatver i was thinking at that moment. It happens many times already...

naughty thought like for example, this A person always start work late, go tea break early, always do work slow slow but still complain got alot of work and I never help....but she will be transferred to another section soon. At least you are lucky that the ghost/spirit did not follow you right into your house. Probably your house is protected because you have an altar inside, and your family members pray there regularly.

 

Who I really worry about is your friend! Probably his house's surrounding has a lot of spirits, and he doesn't even know!
