Sometimes, it is not whether yo are unfearful or have clear conscience.  Certain "Ghosts" can make you down in luck and you have to do something about it, instead of sitting around waiting for miracle to happen.

Thank you for believing me, but I think you should not believe ANYONE in regard to ghosts and gods.

 

Science has not been able to detect the existence of ghosts nor gods,  and this should be a strong evidence for us, in contrast with the unreliable stories of people.

Yet we cannot be sure.  And in this insecurity, why believe???, and make us problems about them?

It may be better to recognize that we are on our own,  and make the best out of this.

If it has became a regular thing, than install a camera in your bedroom while you sleep.  Next morning, replay the camera in BW forum and show it to us  how things went the night before.

Are you guys Buddhist? The first 49 (七七）days , particularly the first 7 days 头七 is very important to the souls of the deceased. This is the time they get "collected" and get "judged" for reincarnation purposes, and they may also go home to make a last visit to the family. So usually there will be a lot of prayers during this period of time to help ease the deceased souls into the afterlife. They will also be hungry because they can no longer eat food the way they usually do. If what you said of the "baking tray levitate and fly out the front door and crash on the cement" is true, it seems like you might have an upset visitor with you. I think she might be angry with you for some reasons. Might be good to put some vegetarian food and water out during the night on the table as offerings for them with some burning incense. Ok, I would like to share something that happened to me that I just can't explain. I was driving on the highway and a semi was to my left and a semi was in front of me. The semi in front of me hit a cat and jammed his brakes. The semi next to me was pacing me at 80mph. To avoid rearending the semi in front of me I had to jerk my truck left. The space available, there was no way my big truck should've or could've fit through. I literally was sure I was going to die. But I managed to slip through. As I was trying to calm down I decided to pull to the shoulder to collect myself. When I looked right to change lanes I saw a blue human like figure sitting in my passenger seat then I smelled a perfume, my grandmother's perfume. My grandmother was buried in a blue dress in 2003.

I am staying in a known haunted hotel for a conference. The hotel prints a history of a known haunting in this very large, very old and historical hotel.  I have been a guest here on 5 previous visits without any incidents. About an hour ago, I  heard clearly a man sigh. 

 I was alone in my hotel room sitting in a chair reading.  It was as if he was right next to me. It startled me yet it didn't frighten me. I don't ever frighten easily. It didn't come from the hall or a room next door and I'm on the 6th floor.  This is a small suite . There is no one in the next space on either side of the room in which I was sitting. There is a doorway and short hall to a door that opens to the hall. 
 
I am trying to debunk this, yet can't find a reasonable excuse for the man's sigh. It is intriguing. Odd, to say the least.  Possibly someone simply wanted to make their presence known.

Has anyone had any strange experiences with furniture ? 6 months ago I bought 2 chairs from a lady who was moving... the home was built in the 1800’s, whenever I went to pick up the chairs she made some jokes about the ghosts in her house uses her bathroom at night. I didn’t think much about it, but since I brought the chairs into my house we have had weird things happening, lights flickering, knocks at night etc... i didn’t really blame it on the chairs until I noticed my cat hated the chairs. It would randomly hiss at the chairs or sometimes he will get startled when he looks at the chairs and he will run away like he saw something.  The weirdest thing is when I sit in either one of the chairs they feel so Hot that I have to get up after about 2 minutes because back starts burning, (similar to how a heating pad would feel).

When buying preowned furniture it is best to cleanse them. Try asking whatever entities to please leave in an authoritative voice. If that don’t work, try sprinkling salt on the furniture and then let the sun shine on it for a while. If still don’t work then you have to find a master to help.

Agree.

Funiture can absorb the residual energy of its past owners, especially if the past owner used it very often for a long time e.g. always sits on that chair.

 

Usually, it's not a good idea to accept old stuff like furniture or jewellery because you don't know who the previous owners were.

As l packed up a tote, l took it down and put it in the kitchen by the back door.  I thought l would take a small break.  Sat down in my chair in the frontroom then heard a HUGE crash in the kitchen!!  Went in to find one of the totes laying on it's side with it's contents scattered everywhere!!  How the heck did a heavy tote flip itself over???

Hey everyone sorry its such a long post but a few hours ago my 8 year old nephew FREAKED out was crying hysterically, face beat red, eyes real wide, shaking all over and told me something or someone SHOOK HIS WHOLE BED EXTREMELY hard & violent like he thought it was me messing with him (it definitely wasn't me) he ran up to me when i came in shortly after (i had gone upstairs to use the bathroom) and he sat in my lap with his arms around my neck, head in my chest trying to tell me everything while trying to catch his breathe as hes freaking out that Someone/thing shook his bed?!?!?! Mind you he doesnt get scared easily AT ALL & never sits in my lap & rarely crys! He for sure wasnt sleeping or even close to falling asleep or anything like that so it wasnt a dream, it was very veryyy real! Also there was nobody else in our house besides us 2... i asked him many questions & even if he seen or heard anything before, during or after it happen and he said no just that his phone flew off his bed due to the shaking.(it was not an earth quake) You guys WE ARE SO TERRIFIED!!!! I have never seen him so scared everrr  I'm really worried for him. Hes in my bed finally asleep, he now just fell asleep a little while ago. He couldnt get close enough to me while im laying down with him. He told me after it happened & he calmed down that "Uncle I'm going to remember this for the rest of my life"  He will not go on his bed or anywhere near it now any help or advice on what to do would be much appreciated! I dont care too much that he wont go his bed, more so of what happen. Hes a really good kid and doesnt deserve anything like this ughh i can't stop thinking about it and replaying the look on his face and him crying so hard.

I have always experienced paranormal stuff in the past. Doors slamming, stuff goes missing, or like a shadow moving out of the room, but here recently it's gotten worse. I don't know if what I'm experiencing is paranormal or a sleep disorder. It's just that since me and my bf moved our bedroom upstairs to take care of our nephew with out waking up our other two, I have been experiencing an eerie feeling. Once bedtime rolls around and I'm laying in bed I can feel something at the far end of the bedroom. At one point it woke me up and I could feel something standing over me and then it felt like it bolted away, and after it left the dog started whining which is something he never does at night. Honestly, it's a creepy feeling and I don't know what to do. I even dreamt about the thing in the bedroom, which may be unrelated. I dont even like going upstairs by myself anymore to lay my youngest down. Whatever it is doesn't seem to be bothering her, but my other two are all of a sudden afraid when you turn off the lights when before it was never a problem. 

My bf thinks we should set up a camera and try recording while we are sleeping. I am afraid to do that just in case it makes the problem worse. 
Has anyone else experienced anything like this? Is there any advice on what to do?

Last week I found out something that has never happened to me before. I've been with my bd going on 5 years. We have visited his aunt and uncle on multiple occasions. You walk in the door to a small tv room where I have introduced myself to his aunts grandmother. I say hello to her every time we visit, she is the sweetest lady. Just 2 weeks ago his aunts mother passed away. We visited last week and I realized her grandmother was not in her normal spot in the tv room and the furniture was disheveled. I assumed she had passed away as well and my bf forgot to mention that to me. I didnt want to bring that up at the time because his aunts mom just passed. The next day me and my bf are talking and I asked what happened to her grandmother that used to sit in that front room? We literally argued about it because he thought I was talking about his aunts mom that just passed. I went on his aunts facebook to see if I could find a photo of her grandmother, and when I showed him he was surprised. Her grandmother has been dead since 2014. My bf and I got together in 2015 so I would of had no clue about his aunts grandmother. I explained her voice, and a blanket she had over her lap, the walker she used with something attached, her tv show, a dinner tray.

Located in the bustling Xinyi district (one of the best areas to stay in Taipei) that’s known for its glamorous city life, it’s difficult to believe that this opulent hotel right next to the iconic Taipei 101 could be haunted.

Still, rumour has it that the hotel houses more than just your average hotel guests. Guests of the Grand Hyatt in Taipei have reported phantom activity in their bathrooms like toilets flushing again and again even when untouched (and no, they were not faulty!), spooky snoring that didn’t belong in the room, and even accounts of jarring knocks on the room doors in the dead of the night.

While lavish and beautiful now, it’s said that the land that the hotel has been built on has witnessed a much more brutal past: It was allegedly a prisoner camp during the era of World War 2 where many cruel executions took place.

In the lobby of the hotel, you’ll find two gigantic Taoist ”talismans” hanging on both sides, which many imply were used to protect the hotel from its uninvited guests. Grand Hyatt Hotel Taipei rebuked this claim, stating that the ”talismans” were merely gifts meant for good fengshui. 

Albeit being one of the most popular luxury hotels in Taipei and garnering many good reviews for their excellence, ghostly talk of the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Taipei still lingers.

Here’s a word of advice that has been circulating on the web: If you’re checking into Grand Hyatt Taipei, make sure to check the back of paintings in your room for Taoist talismans. If you find one, it’s best to request for a room change – lest your peaceful slumber be disturbed by some phantom roomies!

UPDATE: Grand Hyatt Taipei has reached out to YouTrip to say that prior to the hotel’s construction in 1988, the land was occupied by a military warehouse and vehicle factory. Local historians have also confirmed that no prison camps were located on or near the grounds. Since 2015, the talismans have also been removed during a refurbishment “as they did not match the hotel’s newly revamped contemporary décor

Here's one of my experience, it was few years back when my family decided to go Cameron Highland for a short getaway. We booked an apartment with 3 bedroom. I shared a room with my younger brother, when you entered the room and there's 2 single bed on the left, my brother was sleeping on the bed further bed, in front of the bed there window. At around midnight my whole family was asleep and I have the urge to smoke, so I opened and smoke in front of the window, at that time my brother was fast asleep and snores quite loudly. When I was halfway through smoking, my brother suddenly sit up at look at me. I was startled why he suddenly sit up, so I asked him what wrong. He was quiet for like 15 seconds without answering, I was perplexed and asked him again. But he just look at me, suddenly he asked me "Gor, who is the guy standing behind you?". I was scared shitless with goosebumps all over my body as the room only me and brother as the rest of my family was sleeping and no one entered the room. I throw away my cigarette and gold my brother go back sleep and stop talking nonsense. The next day I asked my brother about last night but he told me he cant remember what happened last night. It might be he is sleep talking or perhaps he did really see it, I'm not sure.
