Since you're only the uncle, it will be your responsibility to let his parents know about this as the kid is still schooling.

Maybe you don't want to be too direct and want to test water first, you can try by hinting with questions like if they know their son is .......what are they going to do about it.

Leave the problem (if you consider that it is) to his parents to handle, afterall its their responsibility on the kids upbringing.

I agree its their responsibility, but outing him to his parents, i think thats kinda cruel. How long did you take before you came out to your parents? If its not a question for you, coming out to ur parents, it is for many of us.

Secondly, its not your responsibility to out your nephew to his parents. Being gay is not something you should be ashamed of, or proud of. But it is something you should accept first, and then decide to tell your parents. Letting someone else tell your parents something about yourself as intimate as this isn't going to help you or your parents.

You should, yourself, be counselled by OC before you take any steps, as there seem to be some issues you have to deal with first with yourself before you deal with your nephew. Growing up, i wished i had known someone whom i can confide in,can guide me through and someone my mom can talk to. At least she won't have to suffer the silence and the burden of keeping my secret a secret after i told her years ago. What i needed back then was someone for moral support, for me and my mom. You can be that moral support for your family. WHen he has to have that inevitable talk with his parents, I hope you can be there for them.

I just came to an enlightment why I shouldn't marry and have kid. no more worry of what my future life will be without marriage (although will still worry about money for retirement.

 

I always seeking the purposes of life. I found none at least not the usual things people will say that is to experience the birth, old age, pain and death. Cannot connect with such statement.

 

I think my son/daughter will wonder the same things too. Is enough for me to suffer here already. Why should I procreate them and let them suffer too. the world will be very competitive in the future. they may or may not able to compete with others and may suffer too. Is really up to me now to end this cycle. I cannot be so selfish like what other told me what if you are old and sick later who will take care of you? I don't want to procreate just to expect them to take care of me when I'm old and sick. I don't want to be a burden.
