Can anyone recommend a nice gay friendly hotel in HCMC?

My research so far tells me to try somewhere near Nguyen Hue.

I just thought I'd try my luck here with someone, who has already been there and done that.:)

what do you mean by gay friendly?

HCMC seems quite restrictive when it comes to overnight stays of non registered (checked in) people. Certain hotels disallow over night visitors after 9.30/10pm - 7am or require you to register the person at the reception (often with an extra charge).

If you want to be on the more safe side to bring guys or a massage boy into your room, better try the 5 star hotels instead of local brand of hotels.

Can you choose your therapist in Tori Spa?

Are there any more Gay massage and bathhouse in Hanoi?

I am planning to visit Adam Spa, as it seems this is the only one with younger crowd.

I'm planning to stay in the Danang/ Hoi An & Hue area for about 12 days.

I'm thinking 4 nights in each place.

I'm just checking in with other BW's who have already been to these locations.

Any must dos or must areas to stay?

I'm looking to relax and get a good look at the Vietnamese culture away from the hustle & bustle of HCMC.

I’m also hoping for suggestions in these areas. I’ve been to HCMC several times but that was many years back and I heard so much has changed, so suggestions will be appreciated for HCMC and in fact any where else in Vietnam.

I’m thinking of spending just a few days in HCMC and the rest of the time in the less crowded cities. Hopefully someone can share their good experiences of gay places they stayed and hung out like cafe, resort, bars… TY.

Anyone going to HCMC anytime soon? Can someone check if "Massage Minh Thái (149 Hồ Bá Kiện, Phường 15, Quận 10)" still opens? I visited this place last year and it was absolutely my favorite. However when I searched this place on Google Maps, it was gone. Not sure if the business is closed or what.

I stayed at the la vela hotel. They do not allow guests in the rooms. Security is tight, walking through the lobby after being out all day, a member of staff would stop me and say 'can I help you'?🧐 A 5 minute Walk away is the 69 sauna, only 120,000 dong entrance. It's quite rustic but very clean. I would recommend anyone having a look if you're close by. Next stop Nha Trang 🌞

Nha Trang is a full on transient tourist town. I stayed in a studio apartment in the 40 story panorama building. It is not so smooth to get to your apartment or go from your apartment to the ground due to the sheer amount of people all wanting to the same. The beach is just across the road. You can bring whoever you like to your room, no one is bothered. Next stop Da Nang🤗

Hi Yi007, the Temple leaf sauna and spa you recommended, are they a gay spa or just a regular spa?  Do you have the name of the male bathhouse where you had the body scrub?  I will be go to Saigon in Sept.

Thanks

It took 10 hours on the train from Nha Trang to Da Nang. There are no direct flights so decided to travel in the afternoon and see the countryside. Ba Na hills is must. Hoi An was nice to visit. Stayed at Monarque hotel and is by far the nicest hotel, I've stayed at in Vietnam .The staff are really well trained and try really hard to make your stay enjoyable. Next stop is Hue.

Some gay spas in Ho Chi Minh for yall to consider (search on Facebook for their page, then add them on zalo, then ask to see the staff photos):

1) MB Spa (District 1)

2) Tarzan Spa (D1)

2) Dream Spa for men (D10, at the heart of gay area)

Generally the staff are open to hardcore sx. Massage ticket price is ~300k VND, tip for light HE is same as ticket price, tip for hardcore is min 1mil VND.

Hue, was the capital before Hanoi. I stayed at Senna hotel which is right where in the centre of town. Large and spacious rooms. Did a day trip to see all the historical sights. If only I had planned to stay longer.🤔

Staying longer because of the touristic attractions, food flavours or local boys?

Can anyone recommend any massage / sauna (Danang / HoiAn) where there are more older local {like above 55yo)?

TIA

The whole stretch Danang, Hoi An and Hue is nice, with a lot of things to do.

I would still recommend to stay at a nice beach resort in Danang and travel to the other cities and also Danang city.

You could do some homework by finding things with google. There are plenty of gay online travel guides out there.

Danang City seems to have 2 saunas. Whether they are worth visiting you need to check either on recent critics or with a local boy.

What I often do is I use explore on grindr and just ask some guys who are in that city. Mostly, the contacted guys are very helpful and accommodating (sure if click there might be a self interest also). And it never hurts to thank the guy who gave you travel advice to invite him for lunch or coffee... It might end up as your best souvenir of the trip!

I did a full day tour from 8 till 4, quite tiring in the humidity.

Less time in Nha Trang would have benefited my cause.

Stayed at the Grand Hotel Saigon before my departure.

Finding a power socket that works to charge your phone is challenging.

The place is a little like me, seen better times.😊

By far the best hotel I stayed in was the Monarque in Da Nanag. Not the most expensive, but by far the superior stay and service.

Hi. Any recommended affordable accommodation in HCM?

Check out Justay Pink Church. I stayed there (last day during afternoon and evening) as I had a very late flight and my check out at my hotel was 12 noon. It is a newish hotel and has 4 floors. If you're looking for something cheap and cheerful, this is it. My room was spotless.
