They managed to bridge and conquer the secular listeners with their songs, without exposing flesh!

Sun Ho has 4 #1 dance single on Billboard Dance Chart (Calculation based on US club airplay).

She has yet to chart on Hot 100 'cos no one willing to play her song on radio and her download sales was so insignificant.

Even Coco Lee, who previously had Sony full support, failed to get any radio airplay, let alone Sun.

Am not riding the moral high horse nor pretending to be holier-than-thou. Neither am I attacking religion but let me speak. I am not surprised but nevertheless very dismayed that even till now, there are still people who are obsessed with Ho (who has ceased to be a religious symbol). And when people try to talk some sense to Guest, Guest points to threats of legal action. Is this an appropriate manner to deal with people who are trying to have serious discussions? Why is Guest behaving the same manner as CHC?

Guest wants evidence? Let me provide it below but let me say something first. The first one is regarding legal action. What is common between the National Kidney Foundation (NKF) saga & the CHC saga? In both cases, besides funds misappropriation, the whistleblowers were threatened with legal action. Both backed down after being pressurised. It took somebody else – a journalist or someone more savvy – to expose funds misappropriation to the public eye. Below is the link:

What does this tell us? See no evil, speak no evil & nothing will happen to you. The poor helpless Mr Poon paid a heavy price for speaking up for justice. Is Guest behaving along the same line as CHC by resorting to threats?

Now my next point is to do with “brain-washing”. What is the difference between “persuading someone” & “forcing someone”? If you tell someone to do something & he said, “No!” once or twice, you stop there. But if you keep on nagging & repeating yourself, it is tantamount to “forcing down his throat”. Another word for it is “pressurising” or “peer pressure”. When you read the article below, note the words which I have highlighted in bold.

So you see, whether it is “brainwashing” or “forcing”, the element of pressure is there. Either you give in to their demands or you will feel paiseh. And since you want to be accepted as one of their members, you yield. The same goes with:

b) Japan under the Imperial Army – who dared to say their Emperor was not a god? Who dared to oppose military orders?

c) China’s Cultural Revolution 1967-77. Who dared to go against the excesses of the Red Guards?

d) In Thailand, who dares to say the Thai king is not sacred? They even use lese majeste to silence political opponents.

e) You can list many more examples in companies, schools & religious organisations etc. anywhere in the world.

I shall not repeat what was already mentioned by Abang & many others regarding Sun’s extravagant lifestyle & wearing of unholy clothes to further her singing career. YES, she may have the golden voice (and I agree she can sing well) but the methods employed by both herself & her husband are dubious, questionable & extremely undesirable, especially if they want to remain as religious leaders. Such methods have already tarnished whatever good image her commercial success has built up. So I hope Guest can wake up to his senses to see the darker side of the bad elements that have brought disrepute to their church.

You are definitely biased against her, she has crystal clear and sublime vocals in Gone and has an upbeat sense of rhythm in Fancy Free. She was also great channelling her inner Wyclef in China Wine and Mr Bill!

She also recorded a charity single, One More Moment, based on local band Ronin's song of the same name, and her version was praised to be the best, better than Fiona Xie!
