Planing to have a visit to San Onsen during CNY
any tips like where to park my car or where i can stay if i want to over night

is there any time limit in the onsen?

i'm from JB

There is plenty of parking there as San Onsen is attached to the KSL Hotel and Mall. So there is plenty of parking space for you.

In addition, you can choose to stay at KSL Hotel. Please do check on their website or through any accommodation platform.

1st time visiting this onsen on Christmas day. There is no sauna or steam room.
Only having 3 tubs with different temperature (cold, warm, hot). Not many people.
There is a slim build cute spec guy who sat at the locker area most of the time, never get a chance to know him better. Just exchange 1 question when he sat next to me on hot tub and went off back to the locker. Guess both were shy.

I was there from 7pm onwards, and there were quite many people coming in and out throughout my 3hr+ stay.

What time were you there?

There are usually more people visiting the onsen after 5.00 pm.

Yesterday, I went to KSL Onsen for the first time to try out what they call a hot spring... Unfortunately, it was just a hot water pool with chlorine and two cold water pools... It didn’t feel particularly special.

During my time there, I saw many naked people rushing to the shower area to wash off the chlorine before soaking again.

But honestly, my real purpose was just to see people naked... so... hahaha...

There was a guy with an amazing body yesterday, blonde hair, and really thick chest muscles... I wanted to take a bite... Unfortunately, he didn’t stay long before leaving...

I was there with a friend last Sunday. The 34C pool is not working. So there were 2 pools with cold water and a warm pool. Both temperature indicator that been taken down. People in the Tele group said that the pool is more & more run down. Not sure if this is a temporary thing or not. Sunday afternoon was a good day to go as there's plenty of my kind of eye candy, almost everyone was in the nude except 1 or 2. It wasn't particularly crowded either so everyone have their own space.

If the cute Malay guy from Banting is here, please reach out. Didn't want to be too forward to ask for your number.

I went yesterday, the big pool was colder than the small pool 😆.

I was there last week, and noticed the 32C pool was not warm with lots of bubbles, therefore I was using the 40C and the cold pools for my sento routine.

I was there last night. The large pool water was colder than the middle pool 🥶 and most of the people could not stay in there for more than 5 minutes... I ended up dipping myself inside the hot pool most of the time.

According to one of the patrons, he was informed 'pam rosak' by the staff when he reported the malfunctioned big pool three days ago.

This "pam rosak" seems to be a continuous problem for San Onsen.

It is quite annoying, because I really like the feeling of the jets of water on my back, soothing my muscles.

Will Fri or Sunday evening be better?

Thank you! I guess I'll do Friday evening for the full experience!

Ps. Any Malays or Indians who are planning to go on Friday evening, do hit me up.

It was a good first experience. I was impressed with the facilties. Apparently there was no small towel on that day. It was crowded and cruisy. Crowd was mostly Chinese, with 1 malay and 1 indian guy when i was there. I'll def go back soon.

For the past one month, I have not been given small towel (during weekdays evening), and I had to go around between pools and the washroom using my hands to cover up. I was told that it was because the towels were under cleaning at those moments...

I find it odd that San Onsen would have a "small towel crisis" - the excuse of the small towels being cleaned does not hold much water.  If the large towels are available, why not the small ones?  I would expect both the big and small towels to be laundered at the same time.

I have to admit I do not use the small towel much, I just walk from one pool to the next without feeling the need to cover up.
