Report from Taipei trip...

 

Went to Soi13 on a Sunday afternoon... locker room is spacious... you have to undress completely to go into the wet and rest area... there is a sauna, hot tub and steam room at the wet area... basement has a dark area...

 

Not many people in the afternoon (I went to Keybox a few times on Sunday afternoon and had fun) so I left... the GOOD point is you can come back within 4 hours (but must let the counter person know) so I came back about 6pm... indeed there were more people... but it reminds me of Keybox nights where there is a lot of walking around and little action.

 

No wonder most Taiwanese I chatted with on Grindr recommended Han's. I heard there are "older" people there so I didn't go but I guess there is more action. Unfortunately weather wasn't so good during the last few days so I didn't go and check it out myself. Will do that on my next trip!

 

p.s. also, between I/O and XL (which are just a street btn each other), XL seems to be more popular with fit guys and daddies ;-P I could peep in and saw a lot of yummy bods walking in their underwear...

Just got back from Taipei / Tainan after a 7 days visit.  Booked a hotel near Daan mrt because wanted a quieter neighbourhood with less tourist.  Had a great visit with great food and shopping. Everyone is so friendly with foreigners, especially the older folks in the mrt.  I find most  Taiwanese people, especially guys are very humble, considerate and polite.  Very friendly with foreigners too. 
I met this cute / nerdy guy at Kinokuniya (breeze centre) and we got talking, he brought to me to Eslite art house and we had dinner and hung out. Now I have another friend in Taiwan. 
 

Went  to soi13 - it is true buffet of gorgeous guys - must go 🤩 and they are very friendly, unlike in Singapore 😭 And an old friend from singapore now staying in Tainan brought me to private hotel hot spring spa at Beitou because, he didn't want go crowded naked place. Much nicer to go hot spas in Japan with the scenery.

 

Realised hotel I was staying was close to Prime and tried booking Link or Eric (found them cute) but very difficult to get. But had very good experience at Dancing Finger and Bulasong Xinyi (both operate 24hrs can have very late night massage) and many cute young guys. Very helpful and nice people. Can tell they feel very appreciated when you tip them. 
 

June maybe not good month to go if you want go more outdoor. Most of the days I was there it was cloudy (even on top  Taipei I0l view not so great). It was raining mostly and could not go outdoors much.  Wanted to go several nature places but had to cancel due to rain even the Maokong gondola was suspended due to bad weather. Summer months better to keep to shopping, eating, massage and sauna. One evening we were at tamsui old street eating, started to rain 😂🥲

 

Was lucky to visit the Longshan temple at night when it stopped raining, very beautiful and inspiring place! 
 

Must go again in autumn or spring!

I'll be there just the weekend before 17-22 October... initially was planning to visit during Pride weekend (never been) but it seems the hotel prices are double 😅 (staying at Ximen) or maybe I just booked too early. Anyway enjoy guys!!

Yes. Miniinn is always booked out on Friday and Saturday. The booking is opened 2 months in advance. Example, now the booking for September will be opened, but not October. You may try on 1 August and try booking for October. You may probably get a bunk.

I'm white/latino and see that people in Taiwan are friendly respectful and welcoming
Best places out of those saunas and clubs to hook up?

Also, I'm booking a hotel for myself in the Ximending area, are hotel clerks to strict on me having someone over for a bit?

Hi!

I'll be visiting Taipei this August and I would like to try Prime Spa. It's a bit pricey on my end but I'm willing to spend because this will be my first time trying this experience. Planning to do an outcall service for 120 minutes and it's 3500 NTD. I read A LOT of things from this thread and it got me excited. However, I am not very confident with my body, so I'm not sure if I will get the action that I'm expecting. 

Any tips to maximize the worth of my money?
