Taiwan - Massage / Sauna / Places To Visit (Compiled)

What do you mean by 'extra' service? They all seemed quite comfortable (no they didn't stand 1m away) touching a naked guy but the extent of the interaction will depend on the rapport between you and the therapist. Let them lead the session. If something feels good, give them verbal feedback. When you are on your back, the eye contact should give you a sense of where things stand if you don't have a conversation going on. I don't want to say that so and so will do this or that as there is no guarantee he will do it in every session. It is always better to go in without those expectations. After all, this is first and foremost a massage session.

I agree with the last sentence.

They are mainly massage parlors. Of course, we all know they do offer "extra services" but since they are not really selling or advertising for it, you can't really go there expecting it to happen in any case. Most of the times of course they will offer those services but you won't be able to complain if they decided not to do anything, right?

At least that's how I see these places. For me it's just about having a good (sensual) massage with a good looking guy and not feeling embarrassed having a hard on during the massage. That's the reason why I would pick these gay massage places over a straight one. :P

Kawayu (Chuan Tang in Chinese) is nice.

The bus stop is Xing Yi road lane 300 - the third stop on Xing Yi road, if I'm not mistaken. The bus fare is NTD15. It is NTD200 per entry at Kawayu. Bring your own small towel to dry yourself afterwards; if you forget, you can buy a tiny one from the reception but it is probably going to be relatively expensive for its size. If you want to use the lockers prepare two NTD10 coins.

In the mornings, it can be rather empty and you might even see young dads with their little sons or grandpas bringing their grandsons. It's very pleasant and you feel very close to nature.

The crowd is quite different on Saturday late afternoon and evening though. The place gets packed and the atmosphere is different. As tp685 reported, the steam room (not a sauna) is small and guys pack into it like sardines. And yes... some may be giving/receiving handjobs, especially in the back of the room. You don't even have to see it to know it is happening. You are packed in so tightly that if a guy is doing it beside you or even one or two guys away from you, you detect a bit of that rhythmic movement. It is pretty amazing to see guys still trying to enter the steam room even if one or two guys inside are visibly pressed against the glass of the door.

Hear, hear!

I visited 川湯 (Chuan Tang) on a Saturday evening and I counted ~50 wet dudes, ~90-95% of them gay/bi, ~95% of them Chinese, ~80% of them sufficiently in shape. I have never seen so many memorable penises in one small enclosed area.

For a change I also visited 皇池 (Huang Chi) - very near Chuan Tang, really. Although it was also popular with cock-lovers, I intentionally visited early Sunday morning where the patrons were grandpas, dads, lil boys, and other (probably) straight Taiwanese guys of all ages and physiques. They were genuinely there to enjoy the hot springs, not to enjoy a view.

I ended up preferring the second hot spring experience.

Based on the other replies on this forum, the rainy season is never that fun a time to go.

I did visit Taiwan in August a few years ago - it did rain somewhat, but when it rained we just happily went indoors.

If you think about it, when you're at the hot springs and it starts to rain too heavily, you'll be huddling under shelter with tens of other naked dudes in very close proximity - you might like that? Depends on what you like lol.

Believe me, hot springs are NO FUN in the hot Summer days. The water is too hot already (can barely stay in it for more than 5-10 minutes), I cannot imagine when it's 30 degrees outside and you still want to plunge in some steamy water haha.

Slight rain might be fun as it cools down the air.

Huang Chi is nice too. It is larger and more modern. I like Chuan Tang a bit better as it feels cosier; it's more quaint and you see more trees around.

I agree that summer is too hot for going to the hotsprings. I did once and ended up staying out of the hot bath and splashing myself with cold water every now and then.

The weather isn't good these couple of weeks. You can visit the Central Weather Bureau site for some idea of how it is:

Cory is still my best experience haha, no real HE but god, that massage was heavenly.... skills AND tease.... yummy  :)

and yes, Taiwanese are all super cute and fit. Most are students who are just there to make some pocket money and some are not regulars. They would work for a month or two then move on.

which is all the more commendable....part-time yet still professionally skilled....and obliging, accommodating too. when request to kiss, they ok with it too...and I love those short and tight white shorts they wear....very sexy....

if going royal spa, King and Alan are very good in massage....

but for those going tp soon, be forewarned about the extremely humid weather! don't bother bringing sweaters or long johns...save the extra space for shopping.

Have to agree Taiwanese masseur skills are much betta than those 'so-called' massage boys from China/Indo/Thai we see here so often.

In fact, I just got back from TPE & had one of the most satisfying massage & fuck from a stocky masseur that I'd hire there. Love it! Taiwanese men are so passionate when they fuck U.

is ur cory the guy with the massive chest and perfect V-shaped body? i can't get over his 'delicious' body! :-)

btw, I notice that most of them express surprise when I tip them....a check with the reception revealed that tips actually optional....maybe its not the nrm to tip in Taiwan massage? esp since the massage itself is already considered very expensive? the body-to-body at YF spa is NTD2800, normal one is NTD2300. The one at royal spa is NTD2300 for 2 hours, and NTD1800 for 1.5hrs. With this kind of prices, maybe the tip is already factored in already....anyone experienced cared to comment?

I also stayed two days at the In-House hotel. the staff there are all very goodlooking, including this guy. But they are also aloof and unfriendly.....leaves a bad taste in the mouth regarding their service....

Just reached Taipei early this morning and am staying at InHouse Hotel. Didn't know they have 2 hotels when I was told that they have transferred my booking to the hotel located at Chengdu road. All ends well when they upgraded me to VIP room :)

You must understand the mind of the masseur. He would like to release too but he will feel tired if he release it early in the day. Also if it is busy season, he need to reserve his energy to service many customers.

If you want to try your luck getting a good fuck, go during the low season and book him late. First being low season, he has not much customers do he is not tired at end of night. Moreover, he is not likely to get more customer after you. If he has kept his sperm, he would prefer to use it to satisfy himself too.

I would put out the right signals like telling him about the latest good fuck I had. When he massaged my thighs, I would pretend to spread my legs wider to make it easier for him but actually I lift my butts only a little he can feel it.

I would say that with this type of display, they knew what I wanted. Interested or not, he would move in to massage my hole. After that I would pose with my legs wide open for him to fuck. If he is not interested, I will at least get a HE with a finger fuck. If he is interested, he will let lose his suppressed needs with ferocity. Actually a massage bed is a sex accessory because the many fuck positions are easily posed effortlessly.

My favorite is to be draped over the side being comfortably supported at the mid section and can take the most energetic slamming into my butt hole. The stimulation is so direct and intense I never fail to autocum.

I still tip them, over NTD500. They haven't expressed surprise. Since I don't go frequently, and each time the service has been good (in my limited experience, clearly better than the service I have received in comparable spas in Singapore) and so far here they have not asked for tips, I tend to be more willing to tip. I also read on some Taiwanese gay forum that tipping is common. But, as always, it is up to you whether or not to tip.

Guest 1st Time Taiwan

Hey guys,

Me and my bf have be wanting to go taiwan for quite a long time. But haven really got time to sit dow and do some planning and research. Have spoken to some tour agency and people and got some recommendations too. Was thinking of spending max 14 days there. But don't like to follow tour group as they are like quite pack and rush. Most of the time is like traveling from places to places. Prefer to have our own pace. After all is a holiday, shouldn't it be relaxing and slower pace? Why pay to rush? :)

Basically we never been to taiwan before. So really don't know what to expect from there. Not necessary to be a gay trip thing. But there are a few things we like and hope to experience it though. Such as those below.

1. Scenery (Both night and day)

2. Farm stay

3. Hot Spring

4. Shopping

5. Night market

6. Tourist attractions

7. Putting up Sky lanterns :)

Some places recommended by friends are as follows:

1. Taipei

- Yang Ming Shan National Park - Flower Spring

- Beitou - Not sure what they have there? Is it worth to go?

- Wulai - Not sure what they have there? Is it worth to go?

- Jiufen - Not sure what they have there? Is it worth to go?

- XiMenDing - Food

- DanShui Street - Lovers Bridge and Sunset

- Shilin Night Market - Food

- Wufenpu - wholesale garment market

- Pingsi - Sky Lanterns

- Shifen - Waterfall

2. Nantou

- Sun Moon Lake

3. Taichung

- Taroko National Park - Rock - Is it worth to go?

4. Kaohsiung - Not sure what they have there? Worth to go?

5. Farm Stay and Hot Spring - Any particular recommendation?

Am I going to many places? Any other places to recommend? How should we travel? I mean should we fly to taipei then go all the way to the last destination then take a flight back from there? Which location is recommended to be the 1st and last station? Is nov / dec a good time to travel?

  • 3 weeks later...

Just returned from taipei not long ago, let me settle down to bring u field report..........

Startg from peace park ( right beside NT hospital): didnt really want to cruise there but pp has been recommending this place and since it s right beside the MRT, why not go take a look?

the good thing about this park is , when u exit from the station (took escalator up to ground floor ie the park...from the escalator area walking towards the park 's toilet:u can easily see that people are standing at urinals(just their faces) or walking into/out of cubicles (use your gaydar or whatever to observe)....

I m dead sure that i saw a younger boy and an older uncle(or rather grandpa level) went into the same small cubicle, that really makes me hot!

I hasten my pace to go into the toilet( u can see that there is 1-2 guy "waiting" outside the toilet for sometime hence it means they are not waiting for their gf or wives etc female counterparts who will usu take a longer time to do their business)..i really wanted to see how taiwanese do it(could be non-taiwanese, but heck-care , just want to know more about the taiwan culture)....i bend down looked straight at the floor of the last cubicle.........(to b cont'd)
