Enelym1978
Hi,For those who just came back from Taiwan, are their free wifi common? As I don intend to get the local SIM card for fear friends cant reach me from SIN if I get a local son card They have a free WiFi, forgot the name... mostly near 7-11 and in the stations. But you need to register with a local number. Which means, that, by having that local number, you are better off taking one of those super cheap data plans for a few days. However, I don't understand... today, with Whatsapp, Line, Kakao, WeChat, Viber, Skype and others, is it that important to be reachable on your SIN number over a few days?Taking incoming calls when roaming is super expensive. Same goes with sending out text messages. You can also subscribe to a roaming plan just before leaving Singapore.SingTel for example, for Taiwan: 1 Day: $153 Days: $455 Days: $75 For unlimited data access. More expensive than a local SIM. Local SIM with unlimited data for 5 days is, if my memory is good, $300 TWD (FarEastOne). Edited November 13, 2013 by Enelym1978

Therefore I can't do it if I get a local SIM card? Of course you can! When you switch SIM card and launch those apps, they will say "oh, new number, you wanna register with this?" Just say NOAnd you will still be reachable on your SIN number. No one will see anything. It's completely transparent to all your contacts. Why do you think I have 8 different SIM cards in my travel pouch for my biz trips haha? It makes absolutely no difference. Just say NO, when the apps are asking you to register again (mainly for Whatsapp, the other apps don't even care lol).

Guest Miao
Juz came back from 川湯 hotspring. Friday evening. Crowd was not too bad. The sauna room was especially conspicuous. There were several times I went in n kena touched all over. Then there was this group of 3 guys groping each other. But the other uncles in the room dun seem to react at all. Probably they are quite used to it alr. Gonna come back next weekend evening n have a look again. But overall a great experience . Guest Miao
Attention! Reporting live from rainbow spa, Taipei.I am now taking a short break at the second floor common area. Enjoying the not very nice chocolate which is available for free. The maze upstairs is amazing. Especially the dark maze where literally no beam of light can enter. Lots of action going on. Groping is the norm. If u get in, confirm will kena touch all over. Quite shiok. My first ever sauna experience. Shall elaborate more when I have more time! It is just behind the Red House in Ximen (西门町后楼). Tried it last April, and came back with a fantastic experience!

Guest Miao
Field report from Anika spa. I have been planning my trip carefully so that Saturday nite is reserved for Anika's inception party. I read from the website that the entrance fee is ntd800. However. When I arrived at that place, the staff informed me that due to the faulty jacuzzi n warm pool. They have lowered the entrance fee to ntd700 instead. The place isn't exactly easy to locate. It is hidden in one of the small alley n it is underground. Nonetheless, after some navigation I manged to find the place. The place is rather well equipped n in a much better condition compared to rainbow spa.there is a movie theater which was screening HBO movies with several big n not so comfy sofa bed for patron to lie on. Then there are two Macintosh pc for users who wanna surf Internet and also a mobile phone charging station. Next to movie theater was a big room with 4 rows of mattress for patrons who crave for a siesta. The dimly lit shower area was rather nice n well designed , alongside with a steamroom and a sauna room. Unfortunately, the heater was spoiled so had to bathe with freezing icy water ( it is winter btw) . I cruised one round in the afternoon and there was abt 10-15 guys around in the maze area. Every turning corner is fitted with a full body length mirror so u can easily check on "incoming" traffic. The long awaited party started at 6pm sharp. Juz in time for it when I came back from my mcD dinner. It was a lube party....To be continued...

Guest Guest Felix
Each time I go Taipei I will give royal spa a visit. Regardless of the massuer I chose, the massage is always done professionally with a good service attitude. Always feel being pampered. Each room comes with attached bath and the bathing time does not eat into the massage time. There is also a good selection of massuer to choose from. There is no one man spa in Singapore that can be comparable to Taipei royal spa.
