My friend and I tried Dada and Alan from Royal Spa yesterday night at 9pm. We opted for the NT$2500 massage that lasted 2hrs. An additional 10minutes was provided for the showering time.

 

Friend's review of Dada

Da3da2 looks like the picture on the website - face wise. Body wise, does not really have the abs as shown on the website. But still relatively fit.

He made quite a bit of small talk, chatting for about the first 20mins of the massage

After the happy ending, they showered together and he claimed Dada was semi-hard in the shower.

Overall, he was very pleased with the service as Dada was very friendly.

 

My review of Alan:

Alan looks how he does on the website - face and bod is the same. Good bod with muscles and abs.

There was no small talk between Alan and myself - at the start he asked me to take a shower and when I was done, helped to pat dry me. Following which the massage began and the only words exchanged were whether his massage was strong enough and the usual stuff like askimg me to turn over etc.

I did caress his body a bit such as his ass and thighs (no touching of groin or dick) during the massage and he did not seem to mind. Towards the last part - last 15mins or so, his shorts came off (dick was soft throughout) and the happy ending was definitely a job well done.

 

After the 'deed'. he went into the shower. As it was my first time trying such a massage, I did not know whether to follow him or not. He did not signal me to come in to join him so I just lay on the massage table, resting. About 2 minutes later, he stepped out of the shower, took my hand and brought me into shower. However, he did not shower with me but left me alone to shower. After I showered, he helped me get dressed. Still no small talk.

 

On hindsight, I regretted not joining him to shower at the end, and it was a pity there was no talk exchanged among both of us. However, I was still pleased with his massage.

 

Even though I read that no tips are required, I still tipped Alan NT$300 and my friend tipped Dada NT$200. Both accepted the tips.

 

Alan is recommended if you don't need the small talk and niceties. However, if I should visit Royal Spa again, I will try out Dada's service. Then I can make a fairer judgment about who I prefer.

 

By the way, we made the booking one day in advance by making a trip down to the place. There we were showed the website and were told to make our selection of the boys.

No miracles here.... laws of supply and demand... all those sought after destinations will see their rates sky rocket during new year period.

For this kind of destination, better book way in advance. I always do that. Just book some dates in advance, but make sure you book a flex rate that allows you to cancel without penalty (or sometimes, just $10-15 penalty, like on Agoda).

 

That's what I did for Taipei, booked almost a year in advance lol for a 4* hotel in Ximen for only $100 per night incl. breakfast. Just cancelled cuz I changed my plans.

Anyone been to Aniki lately, have they repaired hot water, jacuzzzi, etc? The cafe ever open? Seems their services have not been kept up well since new and still charging up in the $700-800 range.

 

Reported entrance is on different side of building now. How to find it?

Aniki heater not repaired,still charging 700 with insincere staff greeting.went there sat night,another cruise club experience but not as busy as cruise. If you are btm better go early to catch top.top check out after 11 pm.

XL club is very small area with good internet area. A few cubicle for fun and steam room for fun.shower water is cold too.only one toilet for wash up but no attitude muscle crow.I prefer XL club and rainbow than aniki.

Hmm....so far I am having quite an unpleasant trip in Taipei. Seem like the local don't really like Chinese tourist.

Rainbow Monday to Thur extend a offer150 entry at peak hour but tourist got to pay three fold of 450.

I think aniki is over rated at forum. So far comfortable to visit sauna are XL and office.

The staff are helpful and friendly,crow are nice and friendly too.

There are very cute local guys.

Office is more busy than aniki in the day. Mostly muscle bear handsome crow.

There are plenty of free WiFi , those similar to our Wireless@SG. I survived on those in my early trips.

I am not sure about office is shiffting. It is a good sauna so far. If not,XL is worth to pay a visit in the evening after 6pm.

Staff and customers were very friendly. Please bring month wash and rubber.

Office and rainbow don't provide rubber.

Anyway aniki is worth during peak season,just ignore the poor service.

Facilities are good but heater and pool are not working.

Three are rumose about aninki will be shiffing to another place six month later.

I find Taiwanese sooo super friendly. Department stores, shops, restaurants, bars... and I'm trying my best with my broken Chinese but that's what always makes a good conversation starter or a joke starter. But I just love going to Taiwan

 

As for Aniki.... it's always packed when I go and I don't just go during Pride or big holidays. Maybe it's random... and luck based lol.

 

Wifi is free but is complicated... you either need to go get your login ID and password from the tourism agency or have a local friend's mobile number... but once you're registered, you don't need that local number anymore. And you get that free access at most of the subway stations and outside 7Elevens. And Taiwan must have the highest density of 7Eleven in Asia haha. It's just crazy.

Totally agree on your experience with Royal Spa. To me they are the best in Taipei, in terms of quality of service and the quality of the guys that they have. Wish I have the guts to ask for the contacts of the masseur who served me. The way he ends his massage really make me feel very very very shiok for a good 15mins, and I am not referring to any happy ending.

Part 2 of Anika lube party.

Interm of hygiene aniki is three notch better than rainbow but rainbow don't provide condom and mouth wash.

Last sat I went aniki was quite crowded,people were walking around and no much action,guess was not a event day.

If you want to check in a sauna to stay,I recommend aniki because of good facilities and clean.

The rest are good except bad customer service and heater down.

There is a blanket provided for sleeping. Sleep area is very comfortable and clean.

Not likely people will disturbing your nappy.

I've never received any bad service there too, somehow they always think I'm Korean or Japanese and not from SG/HK, so I get people speaking to me in either English or Japanese. Both broken though lol

OMG!!!! Just checked out this hotel HAN SHE business hotel which provide super lousy service.Han She hotel staff simply don't bother to serve you with due respect and unfriendly. It is a low class customer service.

Moved to another hotel tomorrow hotel service standard is very good. Better rate.

I don't like Taiwan actually, but I know the service is basically among the best you can get in Asia. I really wouldn't say the service standards there are overrated too personally. The only gripe is that sometimes they try to be too friendly that it appears patronizing, but that's not too bad a thing

Tai Chung gay scene is quite dead. Went to Adam sauna yesterday. Was boring, maximum 10 people and only 2 attractive guys. The entrance is 400 and rather ex. Sauna and steam room are good and well heated. Otherwise, a run down facility.

Also visit the other one along Guang fu road, next to my hotel. Many uncle at the locker room, grandpa sort, so I turned back and asked for refund...

Will be in Taipei from 29th to 1st. Looking for someone to countdown at 101 and maybe visit XL or Aniki tog. Has Aniki fixed the heater?

I agree with the data plans. Many tourists simply sign up for the unlimited when the sign up charge is not cheap, starting at 500 for DGD.

I actually have a 12 days course, communication black out retreat so I need to find data limited plan and I found Far East to offer a very good value pricing. 1gb last for 1 month and you could too up as you wish.

DGD only 100 TWD out of the 500 can be used for data specific plan and seriously, no tourist will be using 400TWD worth of calls?

I think Far East tone is a good alternative and providing good value for money.

Review of Royal spa. Tried the place after seeing so many good reviews. I tried to get dickies and dada..as dickies was already booked, we went with Alex and dada.

When I arrived , dickies was there to help us change our shoes before his next customer. He is actually very cute n twinkly, but a bit on the thin side. He has become thinner than the pics but I don't think the website pic do him justice. He is much cuter to me.

Alex whom my partner chose was nothing like the picture. He has a tummy and is much older than reported age. But otherwise he is friendly and have decent massage. If you chose him as a normal therapist you will be very happy..but hugely disappointed if u are seeking a hot bod like what the website pic puts.

My personal experience with dada. He is very friendly , cheeky and we click very well..basically non stop talking till the last part before happy ending. He look like the front view pic of the website, body wise no abs but relatively flat stomach, a bit like little bear.
