Went to Chuan Tang yesterday (Friday) at around 8-ish in the evening.  Quite interesting.  The steam room was really small, at least to me, the size of half a car chassis.  It was packed with guys though, and the sexual tension was really thick in there.  Everyone was just standing there, squeezing, with minor brushing of bodies, arms, hands, dick and bum whenever there was movement in or out of the room.  It really felt like a packed MRT train in Singapore, except that everyone was naked.  Not much action other than these minor brushes though, like everyone was waiting for everyone to make a move, but nobody did.  Didn't stay in there long though, just about 10 minutes just observing, being new to all these.  Stayed for an hour plus (spent most time in the hot pools rather than the sauna), and there were really many many people there (rough count of about 40 guys) at one time.  Everyone was really okay with being totally naked, with only a few guys with small towels (me included), rest just parading around in their natural glory.  Quite an eye-opener.

This will be my 3rd time visiting Taiwan for the past 2 years, gonna go alone too. I'm planning Oct 8-15. I've seen the gay parade last year, planning to skip the 'peak period' this round. Just went to Royal Spa and Prime Spa over the weekend and actually find them comparable in many ways.

 

In fact, prefer Prime Spa over Royal Spa for a few reasons.  Prime Spa was very customer focused and the staff were very polite.  The masseurs who were not having clients were manning the counter and felt more personal.  Like visiting the bathroom, they make sure that you wont bump into another customer and will check when the coast is clear before escorting you there.  I feel more comfortable at Prime as it feels more homely and friendly compared to Royal where it felt business and clinical like.  Massage and guys wise, preferred Prime but guess this is personal preference though.  Really depends on the masseurs that you get.  Both places had nice massage rooms with attached showers and decent ambience.

Starts with <1hr of dry massage, then toilet break, then oil massage, then HE.  So HE is already incorporated into the session and during that time, in most cases, you should be able to touch the masseur and can request for him to be naked.  

 

However, whether or not the masseur is naked in the earlier stages and whether or not you can touch him then, depends on the masseur.  Also depends on the chemistry between you two.  

 

My first time was last year and I'd a masseur by the name of Samuel (who'd since left).  We chit chat and the chemistry was good. Within minutes when he was doing my back and twisting my shoulders behind, he put my fingers on his solid 6-pack abs and that was his signal that he was OK for touching. His massage was very good.  The toilet is outside the room and given the long session, the masseur will want that break. He only starts taking everything off after that break during the oil session. My other time was earlier this year, and I had Luke. He had his clothes on in the dry and oil session.  His massage skills was just average, too soft for me. He also cut short the dry and oil session to just 45 mins each and catered more time for fun, during which he took everything off. Apart from Royal Spa, there's another spa I've tried and you all may want to consider.  Its Morgan Men's spa (http://www.morganmanspa.com/morganspa/teamlist/).  The good thing about Morgan is that they have outlets not only in Taipei, but in smaller towns like Kaoshiung, Tainan, Taichung.  Also the prices are cheaper than Royal Spa.  For eg, the equivalent of 120min session with B2B is NT2300 before 4pm, and they also offer a shorter 100min session with B2B which is NT2000 before 4pm.  Best of all, they offer outcall too and its the same price as incall at NT2500 for 120min.  I tried No 17 阿卡 and he'd a great bod and massage skills was good too.

 

Royal Spa is grand and does up the place nicely with many rooms.  In contrast, Morgan is more "entrepreneurial".  The address stated in Morgan's website only has 1 (or 2?) massage rooms but it has satellite rooms in other places.  So I was initially puzzled when I call to make a last minute appointment for incall and was told to go to a specified address, which turns out to be an apt building in a residential area where they had one of their satellite rooms. There's massage bed, clean towels, spa like atmosphere so no complaints. They utilise these satellite rooms when the main place is full.

Normally there will not have b2b unless it is stated. However, It all depends on the chemistry between u and the masseur...if u r their 菜 then he may do whatever you want....lol

I dont know if it is me or if it is the masseur but I dont find B2B interesting/exciting. The giver has to be really flexible to move and apply parts of his body onto/against the receivers. That kind of exertion normally leaves the giver relatively tired. I dont like hearing heavy breathing close to my ears - not when I am receiving a massage . However, I do prefer the Eastern form of massage as compared to the Western form of massage. The Western form is where the masseur stands next to the table while doing the massage. The Eastern form is where the masseur will actually sit astride or on the side of the receiver, while doing the massage.

Ya you are right, all my information on men spa was through online research. Due to the reason that im staying Ximending area, so i plan to give my very first time to Royal Spa :thumb:and indeed, Royal Spa was excellent in promoting their good services. This forum gives a lots of practical sharing information which is absolutely useful, and there is another website called gayspa.tw which summarises all the Spa in taiwan, have a look too :clap:

There are about 10 rooms in the spa.. Very cosy, every room with shower room attached...actually no need to pay more for VIP room...
